Lotta Krogans. People with less than ideal lives take big risks. I'm actually thinking the same thing. They were the species that were denied the right to have a fleet after the Rebellions and everyone in the Galaxy just views them as brutes and doesn't think it odd that they don't see Krogan scientists around. I think they've all be secretly working on building a large fleet of ships for a century... the After-Rebellion Krogan fleet.

Humans for obvious reasons.
NPC wise, and general population, lots of Helius aliens. Few NPCs from the MW species.

I mentioned in the other thread about Helius aliens designs that I really want that sense of wonder I had in ME1 when discovering all the new aliens for the first time. For that reason, I hope there's not too much emphasis on the Milky Way races. I wouldn't mind a krogan or two, because KROGAN and maybe the odd turian but I hope the focus is on lots of new Helius aliens. I've had enough of the asari But looks like we'll be getting one as a squad member so oh well.

All has to do with birth rate, gene pools, life expectancy, and how long females are fertile. Humanity could survive leaving about 60 people (30 of each gender) in a proximity to each other, I believe. But it would take us forever to build back up to the numbers that we have now.
So, I'm expecting to see a lotta turians, lotta humans, not so many krogans, not so many asari. I'm not sure how many eggs are typically in a clutch for salarians and how many of those will survive. Etc etc.

Turians and humans, I think, will have a large presence.
Asari live for a long time and prefer to reproduce with non-asari so I do not think they'd necessarily send a large number. I think the asari would focus on sending people who they feel should be along due to their knowledge, specialisations and such. Basically, I think the asari would logically be more focused on sending people who had experience and were best suited for establishing a society in unknown space. This would include young and old asari.
Salarians are a bit trickier due to their male-to-female ratio since they'd have to send more than just one or two salarian female along on the journey especially given that there is a risk of unexpected casualties which they'd likely consider. I think we'll see about the same presence of male salarian.

I don't expect to see many tentacle heads. They're a bunch of betas that are slow to act. Human and Krogan nature is to jump right in

-lots of Krogan & Asari - Humans (N7, AI & hopefully NOT Cerberus) - Volus for banking, merchandising & laughs - a few Salarians for brainz - a few Vorcha, best flamable torches & wannabe canon fodd...ehm I mean bodyguards - hopefully a colorfull bunch of new andromedan native species (space pirate or robber like) we never expect (maybe some rivalry for the Volus or another Hanar like species who start to believe in the Vorcha as their new messiahs)

I don't expect a huge Turian presence.
They're a military culture doing well in the MWG. Going on a human led vacation in the middle of a war would be irresponsible.

I don't think the Krogan will be having a better life in Andromeda. If we believe the rumors that the ARK ships left before the events of ME3 then that means the Krogan that come with us still have the genophage. They are pretty much guaranteed to only survive for one generation. The "no future" thing is what led them down the dark path before, how is simply hanging out in andromeda for a thousand years then all dying off a better option?
For the sake of balance let's say the ARKS leave after the genophage is cured but before the end of ME3. This creates an even bigger problem in that the Krogan would pretty much be able to take over because of their insanely high birthrates. With out large numbers of the other species there to stop them the Krogan will run roughshod over anyone and everything in a few generations.
Maybe I'm thinking to much into this……
