Do women actually like beards on their men?

I can't speak for women, but I personally hate having thick, full facial hair. Just some thick stubble not only looks better, but is much easier to maintain.

Not a woman (I just checked) but I can tell you that having a beard just sucks ass, its hot, scratchy, itchy it collects bits and pieces of your meals, smells and sweat accumulates in it too.
You'd have to wash it every day throughly to make it halfway acceptable. I hate the feeling and its unhygienic so I simply leave a stubble - also I find it kind of vain to go all through this crap to have an impractical ball of fur in your face just for fashion reasons. 

What women like is irrelevant, a proper man has a beard.

Are beards good for your health?

It seems that shaven faces are more unhygienic than bearded faces according to the study.

As I said numerous times already, if you shave your face that it resembles a surface that is similar to the moons, but the craters filled with blood, you are doing it wrong. Damaged skin is unhealthy, if its caused by shaving or an accident does not matter. Intact skin with no hair on it is the healthiest variant as it neither collects crap, nor does it give germs space to thrive, nor is it prone to infections due to injuries. 

And the connection of beards with antibiotic-like features is nothing more than funny, its more like lots of weaker germs get killed by the big dogs in territorial battles, because there is so many in them. Its basically gangs fighting for turf in there.  Armpit hair is the perfect example of what hair does, it gives bacteria space which explodes their numbers making you extra  smelly. Shaved armpits are clean armpits. Shaved faces are clean faces. 

Not to mention we even have other nasties living in our hair, most people even have tiny mites in their eyebrows. No need to have even more creepy crawlies in our faces, especially around our mouth. 

Sponge like structures, structures with a very high surface area compared to their size are natural environments for fungi and bacteria. 

Twice or thrice I had 20-21 days full beard. It was awful, mostly aesthetically.

Although one can have permanent regional beards and can keep them clean by washing them once a day, it ain't hard. Like a small goatee or a medium size sideburns.

Do you have any scientific links and sources to support your rather statements? Are you going to advise women to shave their heads for these reasons? No offense but I take the studies of scientists who study human hygiene over the statements of a random person on the internet.

Lost a bet once, had not to shave for three months. Was kind of interesting, felt like a caveman, all I needed was a grizzly companion.

Personal experience, it works both ways and you'll rarely get a indifferent reaction. Don't even try to hit on lesbians or more liberal chicks.

I am cursed with 'baby face' -my facial hair does not really grow in that well. That said, I shave constantly or I look like a homeless idiot.
