Apparently the guys at Warframe signed up a contract with the Tolkien hoarders to work on a new videogame according to this.
Everything sounded nice and all until I read the phrase "free to play" which immediately means MMO and fucks running around my game like obnoxious little shites. Granted it's just a rumor and we don't know anything at all about this game. But what a huge slap in the face it's gonna be if it turns out to be an MMO of sorts or any F2P game really. When I think LOTR universe I think of single player experience, not multiplayer.
Anyways, we probably are not gonna heard anything about this for some time since it's very recent.

I suppose this should be in the videogames subforum, but meh I don't feel like opening a thread just for "this much" information.

LOTRO (LOTR Online) is F2P. Still good. The community is probably the best among MMOs, the least amount of trolls and insults in the world chat that I've ever seen.

Here they're telling a story outside the published material and are very limited in what they can change.

There's an Extended Edition Blu-Ray box available. I have both, and they are mostly identical. The BR box has 6 BR discs for the movies and 9 DVDs for extras.
