Yep. It was dream. As Shepard is pulled from the rubble, her/his rescuer asks what he/she meant when saying "What the heck did I just dream about?"

Since I would pick up right after the events of ME:A, Peebee and her interests in the Remnant/Jardaan would mean it would make sense if she returned, especially if you were romancing her, but her character's a free spirit and isn't suited for day to day ship duty. I can see her re-conning in uncharted Remanant/Jardaan areas and being constant visitor to the Tempest if not a crew member. Cora I could see leading another team with her experience as a team lead/huntress and expertise in combat, maybe as a peripheral team to Ryder's but with a different mission and team members, although they co-mingle assets from time to time...this might a way to re-connect on occasion if Ryder romanced Cora. Drack would be done as a team member but I think he would be valuable as an liaison between the Krogan colony on Eladaan and the Nexus. I could see Liam working security on the Nexus along with Tiran Kandros, building out the multi-species militia. Vetra I can see staying as she is resourceful, good in combat but has no obvious home plus she has a nice connection with Sid on the Nexus. Jaal I can see returning to help steer the Angaran government along with the Moshei and Evfra along with the political necessity of working with multi-species allies in Heleus. Kallo would return as pilot and I think Lexi would as well, although, with Drack gone, maybe she would lose some incentive. Gil I could see helping raise a child with Jill and maybe taking something less risky or uncertain. Suvi I think also returns as the science officer to assist with exploration and research projects. All these factors would lead to some significant team movement with Scott/Sara, Vetra, Suvi, and Kallo the only ones certain to return. As for new team members, I could see: - Quarian Engineer in place of Gil. We've always had Quarians "around" engineering in the Normandy but I think, with Quarian's Ark arrival in Heleus, you have the opportunity to have one on the Tempest in charge of the ship. - Asari Badass infiltrator/Squadmate. We've heard all throughout the Mass Effect series the effectiveness of their fighters but have only had Liara and Peebee to work with to this point. It would be cool to have one of those killer Huntresses from the Asari Ark on board with sniping and Biotics. - Krogan Squadmate is another obvious play but would like some variation from usual head-butting over-aggro representation we've gotten to this point. - Angaran female squadmate as posited earlier would be interesting or maybe even a replacement for Suvi if they wanted a different science officer - Another human, male or female, to replace one of Cora or Liam. Admittedly this is the one thing my outline is lacking is more characters. I think I'd like ten but then I took four of them off the Tempest and only replaced them with one.

Instead of fantasy football, we are playing fantasy Bioware and you just got a letter of offer for employment as the lead producer to the new Mass Effect product to be released for Christmas of 2020.
2020! REALLY???That is the time frame of a AAA FPS release. RPG's need 5-7 years to be pristine in application: ME1: (2003-2007 production). ...Unless you want the next Mass Effect to be a FPS. If I am behind the next Mass Effect and it is a RPG -it would have to be 2023-2025 -do it right or not at all. Now... to the following... Warning most of this is wall of text so put it in spoiler fashion. Read if you want -or don't -it is not very good. It is a rough draft of free flow thought process. In my opinion this is already revealed information but take what you will: The Jardaan are the ancient Angara who literally created the first successful doomsday salvation machine. Why? To be determined... but maybe a war with who the Kett originally were necessitated the need to salavage their race and start a new. The vault that stored the frozen Angara called them templates. Templates usually refers to something that is already known and functioning. This indicates that these Angara were blank slates ready to have the minds of Jardaan that were stored in the vault computer imprinted. Further proof is that the Angara can use Remnant tech without any aids whatsoever. It is not easy for the Angara to do since so much knowledge is lost but it does indicate the fact that they can inherently use it. This would be a far better twist than the Angara once "uplifted" being Kett if you ask me nonetheless.
Again the Kett are an amalgamation race -from the many -one. Or in other words Venom from Marvel combined with Borg from Star Trek... lets call them species X. Species X arrives from outside the Andromeda Galaxy -lets say from Triangulum and invades an outlying Jardaan colony world. X Invades the colony and takes over the population -adds the Jardaan DNA to their genetic structure. The Jardaan are first Bioelectrical Bipedal species to be taken over by species Q and thus gain true sentience. Once the DNA is routed through the whole of species X a form a hegemony of leadership is created. The compulsion to expand though does not wain and they begin aggressive expansion. "Uplifting" all they come across or destroying those who fight. Q continues to progress to other star systems -invading native species changing their DNA and adding the best to their own. After a while the amalgamation results in what we get: The Kett. Yet when they met the Jardaan empire... yes going to call it that -not just an outlying colony world. They found a force equal to their own and as will always result: WAR! The Jardaan were formidable but all Species X had to do was to board ships and let loose the parasitic form of itself. A form by now highly religious and only ever used in place of great authority and reverence. The effect would be catastrophic Jardaan crews, ships, planets would fall and become Kett. This would be an uphill battle against species X by the Jardaan but doubt they would not go down fighting. Most likely inflicting damage massive on the Kett -maybe killing someone the Archon was related or in relationship with -if Kett care about such. The Jardaan would by this method eventually be overwhelmed and be destroyed. Unless a method was found around this unfair advantage. Best option is to let the enemy think themselves victorious. Then the Jardaan flee far away from the conflict to the Helius cluster and hide. They begin terra-forming planets making them suited for their needs. Even making a Dyson Sphere battle station and home to start over -far from the Kett. Only they are discovered by using their bio-electric abilities. So they lock-down their cloning templates -yes they took the line from star wars -clone troopers. Also Remnant its-self means an remaining bit of a much larger whole. And the Angara are a Remnant of a much larger if just a few planets. Alas though I am speaking a tens of thousands of years before that the Angara were the Jardaan. This leads me to the conclusion as to why the Archon is obessesed with the Remnant or Jardaan tech. Not because of wanting just to control Meridain but he wants to fully obliterate the Angara for the damage they did inflict when they were the Jardaan. Through controlling Meridian the Archon could eventually gain control of all the Jardaan templates and all the their tech... Eventually Usurping power and become the big bad of the Kett. At which time he would go on his true crusade against the Jardaan but by now had been defeated -or thought. When the discovery of the Helius cluster becomes known to the Archon -who knows Angara species is the Jardaan species. Crusade time: you hurt me so now I going to uplift and kill you at the same time. Again this is all just supposition -unless I am the only one to read those data pads in the vaults.
This benefactor is not a single person. Proven by the multiple characters chosen to represent them. It is most likely that they likewise believed the Reaper threat and funded the Initiative. However it is also possible that a secondary motive exists. In order to create a failsafe in case the Reapers were real -then an escape was possible. Escaping by creating ark ships to go there build relays and then connect them to ones being constructed in the Milky Way. If all was well then in the long run both galaxies would be connected. It is also possible that the Nexus could be a giant Mass Relay - but I digress.... Though in my opinion it would not matter if the Reapers had attacked at all. Species X was known to the Artificial Intelligence that created the Reapers and the Reaper attacks on the MWG were them trying to find a way of defeating Species X. The Artificial Intelligence's creators were from Triangulum but had left it for not only the Milky Way but also Andromeda. Species X at that time however did not want to divide -so it followed the Artificial Intelligence's creators from Triangulum to the bigger source of prey -Andromeda. Be thankful the Milky Way was smaller after all -irony. Heh. The Reapers were the good guys after all. It was a weapon used against the Jardaan and their Technology. It is the viral infection of Kett DNA "uplifting" caused by lets say maybe a viral torpedo. Or infected Jardaan Technology used by infected Jardaan.
Some prior knowledge: Takes place about 100-250 years after the arrival of the Initiative... Meridian is capital of the Human Initiative. The Nexus is the new Citadel. Eos -has expanded and become a lush world thanks to the Monoliths -New Asari Homeworld -5 metropolitan cities. Elaaden is now completely known as New Tuchanka -with at least 3 metropolitan cities. Havarl -Angara world restored to glory it should be -Remnant scientific research colony has expanded -2 metropolitan cities. Habitat 7 -is a revered sacred world that is now seen in the same way the Vatican is seen today by some. Kadara -nothing has changed -it is still Andromeda's Omega. Aya -is still the revered Angara capital. Voeld -Is a cooperative colony where Angara and the Initiative working in conjuction with the arrival of the other arks -Quarians thrive here. Kett make intermediate encroaches but nothing severe -as to why remains a mystery.
The new players mission will be six-fold and most likely in an combination of this order: 1) Introductory to the game is much like what should have been done in MEA but wasn't: NOTE: The main missions will be broken into smaller missions: Each "+" is a different mission STARTING MISSION +Mission on first world of the Initiative is to meet first squadmate only -not who you think. -The mission is interrupted by an attack by the Kett. -Abductions begin. -People think here we go again. -Time seems to freeze as nothing happens. -The abducted are returned unharmed. -A Kett displays in hologram form. -Demands to speak to the "Archon Killer" +Your character get the choice of proclaiming to be Ryder or saying he/she is long dead. -Either way a Kett comes down and speaks to you and your current companion -This Kett says it has been searching for the Initiative. -Like the Archon it does not follow normal Kett command structure. -Unlike the Archon it has no quarrel with the Initiative. -Its only purpose is to find allies against an enemy they are loosing to. -This Kett is calls itself "Ravager" and hopes you have a ship to fight something more dangerous than them. +Head to the Nexus for a ship to fight this "threat" that seems to scare this Kett. -Nexus official don't believe you but are concerned that something out there scares the Kett. -So they give basic scout ship thinking it is nothing. -No defenses or offensive capabilities at the start but can unlock them.
2) Discover multiple possible squadmates throughout the galaxy -max of 7 but at least 21 possible. -Want 4 soldiers and a vanguard -sure. -Want a whole team of vanguards or soldiers -no problem. -Squadmates to be discovered all over the galaxy and at any point in the game can be recruited. -Must include possibility of all races and both (more?) genders -must have a KROGAN! -If romances are written -make believable and worth the effort. -No matter what you get to choose who you take and who you don't.
3) A TRUE OPEN GALAXY -Don't even try a progressive galaxy. -Start with the same style star systems as was in ME1 -multiple worlds -150 would be a good start. -Yes. 150 worlds to land on -to start with. -At least 12 being story mission worlds but only 6 necessary for bare minimum story -not including intro planet, station, ship.
4) 1/3 MISSION +Deal with the fallout from defeating the Archon. -He may not been following orders but he was respected. -Expect his death to have brought retaliation but none has occurred ... why? -The only retaliation has been mainly still just hit and run tactics on the Initiative. +The Kett can't really expend the resources on the Initiative -they have "bigger fish to fry". -The reason the "Ravager" joined you is merely an alliance of convenience. -Get more information on the Kett -social structure: who does what, who commands who. -The reason as to why there has not been repeated attacks from the Kett after the Archons' death become known. +Get to travel to the Kett Empire -broker a truce or nuke them all to kingdom come. -Choosing truce will ally the Kett to you. -Choosing nuke them will not only destroy the Kett home city but also turn "Ravager" hostile -time to KILL! -Side effect all Kett are forever hostile going forward -even in the endgame.
5) 2/3 MISSION +Further Explore, discover and let it be finally revealed the Angara and Jardaan are one in the same. -Find a way to unlock the repressed inherited knowledge the Angara actually possess bring the Angara back into being the Jardaan. -Or decide they are better left alone in their alcoves and let the centuries pass them by -till a better time they could be awoken. IF above is done then +Restore the ancient Jardaan by activating the Angaran templates giving them their minds back from the Jardaan vault. -Choose to explain to them the history the A.I. has with the Kett having arrived 100-150 years ago in the Helius cluster or not. -Choose to tell them whether the Angara are just Angara or lie and say they remember their Jardaan heritage. +Depending on previous choices these Jardaan will either go for totalitarian war with the Kett and see the A.I. as a fly to be rid of. -If the Jardaan want to take over -must make the difficult choice: to wipe the mental template and make them all Angara. -Or make them a Jardaan war machine subservient to the Alliance. -Or if based on previous choices the Jardaan will want to join in an alliance war against the Kett willingly.
6) 3/3 MISSION + Building the bridge-way back to the Milky Way -Explore and discover that..... -Revealed that in secret the A.I. has built a relay back to the Milky Way -Area around its construction has gone dark and no communication has been heard of from or since. -Sent on critical mission is to discover what happened to the activated relay. -The Ravager (if alive -otherwise no one says anything}} states it will bring death up on all -it is their enemy and ours. -Entering the space notice quite familiar -yet strange ships -look Reaper but... different. -At the point of the relay there is a huge platform that seems to be a meeting place for soldiers of some kind -think Independence Day. -At the far end is a hub portal and an army is walking continually through toward our side. -"Ravager" -if alive -otherwise no one says anything}} states they keep coming and have already decimated 1/3 of their empire. -Next scene shows a being walk through the portal something human but has traces of Krogan, Asari and many others. -Soon realized that it is a Kett amalgamation of all Milky Way races -including those who did not come with the A.I. -The discovery is worse when it is realized that the Kett that comes through is Commander Shepard. -As He/She walks through Shepard says: "Time To Die." +Mission Critical -Destroy the relay sever the connection with the Milky Way and stop the invasion. -Kill Shepard or try to convince him/her to stop and reconnect to who they were and stop the insanity. The true purpose was two fold: Create a backup colony in another galaxy should everything in the Milly Way fall flat on its face in fecal matter. As well as to maybe one day create a connection between the two galaxies. A third option is someone just was intent on exploring and had no hidden agenda... yeah .... right.
As to the Jardaan ...I still doubt it by the wording in the game. As to the terra-forming it was multiple not just one system. They were running away and needed planets -unless they were going to be Quarian... Also as with all things you can only run so far before like a rabbit they stop and hide in a hole. Doubt that all made much sense. But had a stab at it... though most probably would still bicker at it. Didn't really do good at all.

Liam has moved on from his post and with the matruity he has found a new position as the head of Nexus security replacing Sloane Kelly finally in the job. That's Shepard's Touch syndrome kicking. I mean, come on, the guy is a tool. He has no leadership/management qualities even if he does grow up.

I want them to explore all the aspects you listed, I just don't want to have to imagine or write them myself. I like being a spectator enjoying a story written by others who have more talent for storywriting. I really wish they make a sequel that explores all those issues.
I'm especially interested in the Jardaan and Remnant and I hope they make the vaults and remnant stuff exploration more worthwhile, more research/investigation and not just mechanically opening vaults and fighting enemies on the side. All that xenoarcheology was really cool and exciting IMO. It's what got me hooked in ME1, the mysterious protheans who have vanished...
The kett infighting was an interesting idea as well, I think they would be a more interesting enemy if we actually got more info on them instead of just wondering about everything without a clue, like on that kett base.
And they need to tell us more about Benefactor.
And more planets please.

The problem with Andromeda is that there is some much wrong with it that it's hard to want to continue it. The AI itself was lore breaking and nonsensical. And once it arrived in Helius the stor only got worse, with both the Kett and the other guys being terrible aditions to the Mass Effect universe. The mysteries are also extremely uninteresting and the characters, urgh...
So if we had to continue the story on the Andromeda universe, it would have to be a soft reboot of the soft reboot. Move it some 500 yeas in the future. The Kett are gone and the other aliens died off because some reason. Have a more stablished Milk Way civilization in the cluster and move on from there.
But honestly, it would be better just to forget Andromeda and reboot the series for real. Or create a new Sci-Fi IP, a spiritual successor or something.

Yep. It was dream. As Shepard is pulled from the rubble, her/his rescuer asks what he/she meant when saying "What the heck did I just dream about?" Hackett:.....That's one heck of a dream you had Shepard. I agree with the doctor. You did hit your head very hard. Maybe you could write a book about your dream or maybe make a movie. It would make for some good fiction. Anyways. I want to discuss ab--- Chakwas:--Sorry to interrupt Admiral, but Shepard needs rest. Don't want to cause too much stress. You can come back in a few hours after Shepard has had some rest. Hackett: No problem. We'll talk later Shepard.

*cracks nuckles* MEA 2: Even more Mass Effect (working title obviously) (Note the examples I use are pretty much with my canon Ryder in mind but a lot of the obvious things could be considered choices based on what you did in MEA) Premise: After five years of exploring, fighting Kett hold outs, and building the Heleus Cluster is more or less secure. Its been a boring yet productive five years for the Ryder twins and the rest of the Pathfinders as they are reveling in their success and with little to Pathfind they can actually relax. Liam has moved on from his post and with the matruity he has found a new position as the head of Nexus security replacing Sloane Kelly finally in the job. Drack has moved onto take care of the Krogan colony and continue its development and to pass on what he has learned. Vetra has decided to stay with the Pathfinder and continue their mission of peaceful discovery, though she makes frequent stops home to be with Sid. Cora, as always, remains by the Pathfinder's side as his second in command. Committed to protecting him and seeing them through. Jaal believes he has found his place in the Galaxy and continues to serve in it, as he enjoys the Patfhinder's crew and company. Peebee continues to want to see the unknown. Gil has decided to stay with Jill and raise a family so the Tempest needs a chief engineer. Otherwise all the crew decides to stay on to the Pathfinder. Act 1: A massive Kett invasion is launched in Heleus, much larger then the first one, led by the Primus (now the new Archon). The Iniative Government believes that they are vulnerable and cannot hold for long so they order Ryder and the other Pathfinders to look for allies, resources, technology to fight them and the best place to look for those is beyond Heleus. But first they need the tech. They manage to follow a lead and hunt down the Benefactor. The Benefactor has technology, advanced, that will let the Tempest travel much more quickly to other clusters. But she does not want to give it up for her own reasons. A firefight breaks out and she manges to escape, but Ryder and co manages to secure the FTL drive and incorporate it into the Tempest's systems. However she is the only ship that can successfully integrate it for reasons. So they head out into the Greater Andromeda Galaxy looking for allies. Act 2: Ryder and co stumble across a planet in the middle of a new cluster with a sentient race on it. This race has suffered greatly at the hands of the Kett. They do not want to get involved however but point the Tempest and their crew in the direction of a planet that they believe can help them. When the Tempest jumps into the system though they find out its the Kett home system. The Tempest is quickly surrounded and captured by the Kett and brought to the planet surface. There they confront the Archon who tells them of their plan to exalt the crew. However because of SAM it makes it impossible to exalt Ryder, so he will just have to wach as they exalt one member of their crew after another. They start with Suvi and Cora, as they are both humans. Eventually Cora and Ryder reconnect though and she talks about her experiences with the Kett, how she believes she is starting to break, and bits of her skin even look bony and calcified. But while Ryder is being moved to a new facility they are attacked by a group of other Kett who manages to break him out. They explain that the Kett exaltation was a tragic accident. A group of scientists long ago was trying to perfect and advance the race using bilogical technology they had found, but it got out and infected the entire species, it sterilized them. This divided Kett society as some saw it as their duty to bring this 'gift' to the rest of the Galaxy while others merely viewed exalation as a neccessary evil trying to find the right combination of genes that could save their people and restore their ability to reproduce. Ryder acknowledes that and the rebels say they can get him off the Kett homeworld. He refuses saying that he is not leaving without his crew or the Tempest. They say this is suicide and Ryder has an idea, to send a distress beacon to the Iniative asking for help. It comes in the from of Drack and a bunch of Krogan who manages to break the crew out of their just as Cora is about to be exalted. They manage to get them to the Tempest and off planet but now Drack is captured. The Kett leader of the resistance has to flee with them and she becomes a new member of the crew, albeit quite resentful. Little later on they discover Drack has become exalted himself and is now one of the principle agents of the Kett. The Kettwoman points them to the direction, one last piece of desperate intelligence to where they believe might be the Jaardan homeworld. A place forbidden for all Kett to go. Ryder, fearing another trap, sets a course because it is desperate, the situation in Heleus is growing truly unstable as the Kett almost captured both the Nexus and Aya leaving several people dead. Act 3: Ryder goes to the Jaardan homeworld and finds the scourge everywhere, but also a dead and decrepit city. Suvi swears she discovers life signs below the planet surface so they land. Ryder manages to wake up the Jaardan and pleads for their help. Instead the Jaardan thanks them for pointing the way to Heleus, that they will begin their purge of all uknown threats. They leave them alone though considering the Tempest is slow and unknown. Their ships rise from the ground and head off towards Heleus, a war fleet that will destroy both the Kett and the Iniative. The Tempest leaves after them, racing to stop them. They arrive just in time to see the Jardaan absolutley going through a fleet of Iniative and kett warships. They have to board one of the Kett flagships where they fight both Drack and the Archon, killing both and liberating part of the fleet, beginning to coordinate their actions against the Jaardan. But, the Jaardan prove to be too much for them. In short order the Tempest is destroyed, Kallo is killed at the helm, the Nexus and Aya are captured and things look very bad as literally everything comes crashing down around Ryder's ears. Which is where the game ends...to be continued in MEA 3. This is !@#$ awesome!!!! The part of the Kett homeworld needs a little more beef (maybe loose Cora to exhaltation, then bye-bye), but I love the idea you have around the Jardaan! Here is the true antagonist the original game really needed! WELL DONE!

I would tell EA and Bioware to "go F themselves" because I would never work for those ass clowns. Your joining Catastrophy on the fired list ...

I would probably scrap a lot of what is there, or just put it into the background. Jardaan would stay out of the story. I would have Ryder and the crew off exploring the rest of the Helius Cluster, or be doing something else because the Initiative is settled on Meridian while planets are being terraformed to each races liking. The AI had terraforming equipment in the first game so they can do this.
Then the protagonist going forward would be part of a military/Science exploration force. I’m thinking a commander on one of a few joint military/science teams, having Kandros as head of the military wing of the exploration force, and a new character as the head scientist. I would also steal Suvi and put her on the science team.
You would have one large ship, and smaller ships that take out the teams. They AI would have studied some of the tech around the Helius cluster and developed a mode of inter galactic transportation, and you’re being sent to ascertain the threats waiting outside the Helius cluster and the true force of the Kett.
One of my primary goals would be redeeming the Kett. The Kett in the first game would have been some rogue, fringe element following the Archon. They wouldn't have even been reporting what they were doing to the Kett leadership, so the Kett would still be unaware of the AI.
Once outside the Helius cluster you would come across planets that have been fully dominated by the Kett, and see what they are truly capable of if they send their full force into the Helius Cluster. You would also come across a coalition of races who are opposing the Kett. Races who have secure homeworlds, but cannot protect colonies outside their home systems. I would also have you run across Kett who don’t agree with what the Empire is doing. They would tell you about a disease that made it impossible for Kett to procreate, so the Kett in the beginning instead of going extinct, found a way to continue their existence by exalting other beings. Those who were outcasts in their societies, those who wouldn’t be missed would be abducted and exalted. But it somehow became a way to completely dominate other worlds and seek to build an empire. One of these resistance Kett would become a crew member and help you work with other resistance factions by speaking on your behalf.
Then you would be tasked with working with the coalition of races on the ground, and also trying to convince them to allow the Kett opposed to what the Empire is doing to help. Butting heads with Kandros about decisions made on the ground and Tann back at the Initiative as well about the direction you should take. A few of members of these coalition races would join your crew as well to represent the wishes of their people. You would learn about the new races through your crew members, and obviously everyone would not get along, so you would have to try and keep your team working together.
You would also be gathering information on the Kett, and working with the embedded scientist(s) on your team to see if there is a way to reverse exaltation, or trying to find the origin of the disease to see if you can cure it. You would travel to the Kett’s original home world that was ravaged by the disease, the Kett’s new home world, worlds of the coalition races, and others.
As word gets around of the initiative seeking to help the Kett, more Kett will change sides to your cause, and the collation of races will work more with them, along with the Initiative. This will also put the exploration force and the initiative on the immediate radar of the Kett Empire, which will increase the urgency as the empire will start actively pursuing you. Because they know if you cure the disease too many Kett will join the resistance as they would no longer see war as a way to ensure the continuity of their species, and the Empire would fall.
Ultimately in the end after studying the disease, the exaltation process, the scourge, and the tech used to create the Angarans, you find a way to have Kett use the Jardaan tech to procreate with DNA from existing Kett, so it’s almost like having children. Kett numbers would be monitored by the new galactic government that the AI is a part of.
Milky Way races will eventually have their home worlds in the Helius cluster once terraforming is completed, but some migrate out of the Helius cluster until their home worlds are finished.
On to the next trilogy.
Some of this is from a fan fic I had started writing, but stopped.

WELL DONE! Actually I think that is a perfect reason to do it that way because it's like 'oh we make a last minute escape it's typically safe like MEA...and we've lost Drack'. That and the idea was to put Ryder's romance option in danger so it does not have to be Cora. And yeah I have a lot rougher idea for MEA 3 involving the Jardaan.

Hmm, looks like I will have to work double-hard here to woo y’all with my not direct continuation plot and cast. Chop, chop! Not impossible but, at least for me, I liked a lot of the aspects of the story and kind of wanted them resolved before moving on to something else within Andromeda. I just can't envision a scenario where you can continue in Andromeda without somehow referencing how the human race arrived, who assisted in its settlement, the respective Arks and Pathfinder teams, etc It's not so much I don't want other stories as much as I want BioWare to finish what it started and actually give that conclusion the effort it deserves and one in which we know BioWare is capable of.

Well, my plot for MEA2 is parallel to MEA1, and starts with the Quarian Arc's Sabotage (as outlined in my earlier setting premises post) and ends up with merging the storyline with the Meridian era AI Ryders' state. I have not read their official novel, so it is going to be AU. I am gonna try to pen down the opening set-up, and post it next week hopefully
