That reminds me when playing Assassin's Creed Unity, they was a moment where the two main characters are staring at each other all lovey-dovey, they go in for the kiss and end up smooching with an inch of distance between their lips 
What a delightfully glitchy game that was.
I also think someone somewhere freecamed the Crestwood scene from Lavellan's perspective and its...offputting. Probably because the camera has no natural movement and is just static staring at Solas. If Bioware were to do FPV romance I can't imagine them making that mistake, but I think it'd just be weird to see on a screen regardless.

I think that either Rift mage or Knight Enchanter. If she is romancing Solas then I tend to think that he would be giving her advice on Rift Mage as much us the trainer they provided. It is a pity that he only tells us about the connection between Knight Enchanter and Arcane Warrior after you have made your choice because I think that if they knew of the connection it would appeal to a Dalish mage, unless they definitely want to keep off the front line. My Lavellan mages were also influenced by what they thought might be of service to their clan in the future, as they do ultimately hope to return to them.

What I don't feel goes with a Dalish background is Necromancer. The Dalish are said to be wary of magic involving spirits anyway and this also involves messing with spirits of the dead, etc. I'm sure a Dalish would view that as unnatural and find it disturbing. It might be appropriate to a rebel against tradition but as you say she is well meaning and saw the Keeper as her friend, it sounds to me like she would have a more conventional approach.

Strangely enough Solas doesn't seem to have a problem with it, which always surprised me, but Cole is unhappy about the Inquisitor choosing that specialisation

Say what you will about Solas, he has a beautiful voice. I love talking to that guy.

Okay, this has to be recorded somewhere - this morn I thought I heard one of our cats meowing desperately, only to realize it was a sound-imitating bird meowing in trees somewhere... That's a new one.

Speaking of imitations... bets, folks: will we see Solas shapeshift? And if so, into how many creatures? Wolf and dragon seem two safe bets, but will they be the only ones?

Will the wolf have dreads?

Also - what would his potential dragon form look like? We know even diminished Flemeth or her daughter are capable of it, so dragon form is bound to happen to somebody who was at one point either an Evanuris or favored by gods.

I can't find a suitable pre-existing artistic rendering, but I envision Solas as a black and silver dragon with irridescent green throughout his scales, because of his green fade magic affinity.

A gal can dream, right?

I mean, RIGHT?!?
