I was playing a sweet Lavellan so I probably did. It's been so long though. Okay, I don't think I did. Oddly enough, someone just reblogged my photo set of that very scene. Odd because it's about a year old lol! And cheesy romantic me typed down the lines they said to each other: Don’t leave me. Not now. I love you…!”
“You have a rare and marvelous spirit. In another world…”
“Why not this one?!”
“I… can’t…. I’m sorry.”* * * I'm guessing that's not hopeful? Nope. That's the sad don't leave me option. This is the hopeful option.

It's actually funny that current topic of discussion is about the break up, because guess what I just went through again?? She got angry and that just made it hurt more. Where's the ice cream, brownies, and chocolate syrup? ToP: Bonus sad Solas.

... The most hilarious thing about this joke is that we can pretty genuinely say that Solas (and likely any other Evanuris) has a fursona

Would have put Leliana as a Ravenclaw (intelligence) and Sera as a Hufflepuff ( excellent finder). It's actually funny that current topic of discussion is about the break up, because guess what I just went through again?? If you want to look on the plus side... as the only two people on this thread (or anywhere it seems) to have used that hairstyle for Lavellan, we now have enough people to start a club if we wanted to? (Everyone else always goes for the long hair parted on one side. It might look more "Elfy", but I can't see it and not think of Skrillex)

Personally I feel like the sidecut thing is... kind of silly looking. And reeaaaally doesn't gel with Dragon Age's otherwise medieval setting. Also I agree about Sera, I think Leliana could be suited to either, and I'm also a bit salty because Weekes has explicitly said that Solas is a hard-core Ravenclaw >:U I think you could put Morrigan in either, too, since she seems to be hungry for knowledge as much as power.

Nah, Ravenclaws is more for the academic, book smart people, while Slytherin gears more towards the those who are clever and can think on their feet. Cassandra doesn't belong there either. She would fit much better in Gryffindor. Since we're on this topic, what houses would your guys' inquisitors belong to? Both for Hogwarts and Ilvermorny. I took a test for my Revas Surana Lavellan for Ilvermorny house and apparently she is Wumpus. So she's Slytherin/Wumpus person.

At least I assumed it is, because I can't imagine anyone looking at Cassandra and thinking "Yeah, she'd fit in great with Slytherin." Granted, I didn't think anyone could look at Sera and think that either...

Carver would probably fit more in Gryffindor.

On hairstyles, I went for that short, sweptback style for my female Lavellan. I wasn't really happy with any of the hair styles and feel that many of them didn't really fit the medieval setting. That applies whether male or female and of course the styles were unisex in DAI. You'd need modern cutting, styling and even hair gel to achieve some of them. Too many variations on bald and buzz cut too.
I wish they'd kept the styles they had in DAO and DA2. I think it was right that some styles were exclusively male or female because it went with the setting and some just look better on one gender. I liked the braided style that Merrill used but also the long, unkempt look that I used for my city elf. With my female Hawke I changed her hairstyle several times to fit with her going from refugee, to mercenary to noble with the money to pay for fancy hairstyles.

I took a test for my Revas Surana Lavellan for Ilvermorny house and apparently she is Wumpus. So she's Slytherin/Wumpus person. Alin Lavellan (naive and gentle Solasmancer): Hufflepuff Auren Lavellan (bad ass murder machine): Gryffindor Talan Lavellan (king of bad jokes): Hufflepuff Pell Lavellan (Bullmancing mage too curious and clever for his own good): Ravenclaw As for the companions/advisors... Cullen: Gryffindor Josephine: Ravenclaw Leliana: Ravenclaw Dorian: Ravenclaw Vivienne: Slytherin Solas: Ravenclaw Cassandra: Gryffindor Blackwall: Gryffindor Bull: Ravenclaw Sera: Gryffindor Varric: The hat would suggest Ravenclaw but he'd pick Gryffindor Cole: Hufflepuff Aveline: Gryffindor Carver: Gryffindor Fenris: Ravenclaw (probably controversial...) Isabela: Slytherin Zevran: Slytherin (throwing him in there) Bethany: Hufflepuff Anders: Hufflepuff (he's a healer...) Merrill: Ravenclaw On hairstyles, I went for that short, sweptback style for my female Lavellan. I wasn't really happy with any of the hair styles and feel that many of them didn't really fit the medieval setting. That applies whether male or female and of course the styles were unisex in DAI. With my female Hawke I changed her hairstyle several times to fit with her going from refugee, to mercenary to noble with the money to pay for fancy hairstyles. Thedas isn't medieval Europe though. Maybe they've created gels; maybe they have plants and minerals we don't. They didn't evolve from the same cultures we did and don't have the same societal norms (i.e. women must be delicate and beautiful). So personally I'm all for mohawks and undercuts and whatever people want to do with their characters. I've not encountered a lore-specific reason why this isn't possible. As for unisex hairs, again, I've never seen a good argument against it. If players didn't like the options (me included) the solution isn't to go back to gendered hair options, because believe me, those things sucked on male characters, too LOL The solution is just BETTER HAIR, which BioWare seems incapable of doing. It's not even merely a technical issue; they literally seem to have no idea what "good hair" looks like. This seems goofy to suggest, but I really think they should consult with several stylists for their next games. Some of the hair options they've put are laughably old-fashioned (like 70s and 80s styles) and... I almost feel sorry for them.
