I like to see characters moving on with their personal lives outside of our protagonist and saving the world. Otherwise the world seems so stagnant. I liked that Oghren has a family with Felsi, even if he fails at it. I liked Aveline learning to separate her personal life from work with Donnic. I like when Morrigan has Kieran because otherwise Oghren is the only companion we ever meet who starts a family after meeting our character which frankly just seems weird with the number of companions we've had in all three games. Since Wynne and Loghain were parents before the start of the game I don't count them. I know some fans don't care for romanceable companions dating each other, but it seems unrealistic that they'd all stay single forever if not romanced.

I like to have the snake arrow in the game. Remember Conan the Barbarian from 1982? There's a scene where a snake becomes an arrow that is fired at Valeria.

I hope Bioware will make Murder knife great again. It was used quite often in Inquisition, but only once or twice by Inquisitor him/herself, which is shame. There's gotta be blood and death and epic one-liners before throwing the finger of death at fools! Oh my gosh! The chance to make Dorian the next Black Divine! "Black Divine" is just Southern-Thedas' prejudicial term for Imperial Chantry's Divine! But it sounds really cool!

I recently thought of something over in the other Dragon Age 4 thread and realized I wanted to add it to the wishlist.
Part of my problem with the outside-the-city areas in Dragon Age 2 was that they felt so... confined. It was like a set of corridors where your ability to move was very limited. It felt like you pressed into a series of corridors where you only move very limited. I had somewhat of a similar problem with the Brecilian Forest in Dragon Age: Origins. It's not something I mind in city landscapes: in fact, it can help provide quite the effective atmosphere. Out in the wild, though? No, it's just feels suffocating to me.
It's why I liked the open areas of Inquisition and yes, Andromeda. You can argue whether they were too big for the content they contained but I loved that I wasn't forced to move in a small area or confined to corridors. I liked being able to cut across somewhere if I liked and feeling more free to move how I pleased.
I really hope that the next game looks at Denerim and Kirkwall for inspiration on how to make its cities but at Inquisition and Andromeda on how to make its nature areas. They don't need to be as big as Inquisition's - Andromeda's was a good size - but I'd rather they be a bit bigger and more movement-friendly than Origins' and especially DA II's.

I like to see how many kills the main character and companions have. Like what DAO had. See what contribution the companions make. How many times each have "died" and so on.

Oh my gosh! The chance to make Dorian the next Black Divine! I'd rather have Dorian become the Archon. Have Dorian ultimately end up achieving the grand ambition that his parents set for him, but subvert those expectations by using the power and influence to reform Tevinter society, as he pushes for his countrymen to focus on the future and new ideas, rather than clinging to the past and outdated notions. Would be a rather fitting culmination of his character arc.

Is it really entirely a subversion, though? Given what we know of Dorian's father at least, I think Halward Pavus would really be rather proud of his son for this. After all, despite what he did, Halward at the very least taught Dorian to be an upstanding man, and what parent wouldn't be overjoyed to have a child who learned the right lessons, but avoided making the same mistakes?

After all, despite what he did, Halward at the very least taught Dorian to be an upstanding man, and what parent wouldn't be overjoyed to have a child who learned the right lessons, but avoided making the same mistakes? Ungh, no... just...no . Despite coming from a respected House, Dorian is relative noob in the Magisterium, and the Lucerni are still a fringe party. For all of his charisma, intelligence, idealism and determination, Dorian simply doesn't have the political influence to become Archon. Not the fame and allies, not the shared primary beliefs and desires, not the bribes and favors, not the fear and respect. To say that most of Dorain's rival candidates would die or be broken due the events of DA4 (other Magisters, the Qunari, Solas' forces, the PC) is just too damn Dues Ex Machina for me. Never mind that he wouldn't even want the job, as his warnings to Cassandra show. To those who bring up Bioware letting us play Kingmaker in the past, let's look at the situations:
-In Orzimmar, it was only ever going to be Bhelen or Harrowmont. We were merely the deciding vote, and there were no dark horse candidates.
-In Fereldan, Anora was already Queen, had successfully guided the country for years and was well loved. Alistair had the nation's hero worship of the Therin bloodline, the support of the Warden and the Guerrins and potentially many others, and the desperation of the Blight.
-In Kirkwall, Hawke only becomes Vicount with the support of the Templars, and because no one else wants it enough. Even then, we can't really do anything with the position, and end up losing it anyway .
- In Orlais, once again the primary forces of Celene and Gaspard are already in place. Briala is the wildcard, but she can only rule from the shadows with the Inquisition's help, and will likely lose her position without them and the Eluvians.
-Of the potential Divines, all three women had years to cultivate their reputations and connections within the Chantry, and Thedas as a whole. Leliana was an acclaimed bard, a Hero of the Fifth Blight, and the Left hand of the Devine. Cass was Nevarran nobility, a high ranking Seeker, the Hero of Orlais, and the Right Hand of the Divine. While the weakest candidate on the surface, Vivienne had many connections and favors throughout Orlesian nobles and more conservative Circle factions.
With all this, is it possible Dorian could form enough of a power base in such a short amount of time to potentially become the Archon? Possible, but not necessarily realistic or narratively satisfying. If Bioware really wanted to subvert expectations, they would provide the option of making Dorian and/or the Lucerni the powers behind the throne, Illuminati style. I honestly think that direction would be truer to the lore and tone of the franchise, and Dorian's character in particular.

After all, despite what he did, Halward at the very least taught Dorian to be an upstanding man, and what parent wouldn't be overjoyed to have a child who learned the right lessons, but avoided making the same mistakes? He would still no doubt be proud of his son's achievement and accomplishments, as you say, but what I was getting at is that Halward was depicted as a rather traditional individual. If Dorian were to push for progressive reforms that overturned centuries of tradition, cultural and societal norms (or taboos, for that matter), Halward might have disagreed with it on principle, even if he understood/agreed with the reasoning behind some of them. Dorian has a very complicated relationship with his parents, in part, because he refuses to let them dictate his life choices and conform to their expectations. If Dorian became the Archon that would add another layer of complexity to the equation, as he'd paradoxically become a great leader like his parents always wanted, while simultaneously, being a vastly different type of leader than the one they envisioned him as. (Plus I think he'd rule at being Archon, even though Dorian would probably jump out of a window if offered the job)
