I tried it once. Never again. Bio doesn't seem to care about completionists. Or maybe they hate them?
Actually, I found completionist ME1 even worse. Doing it requires fighting the RP of the main quest every step of the way, since you can't play after winning the game.

I'm sure there will be a Black Emporium in the game. I would like for it to be located at my castle/home/base or whatever word will be used instead of having to travel to another location like in DAI.

I also tried a completionist run of DAI. I was missing a song or two and I completely gave up on the bottles and landmarks, but otherwise, I think I got everything else. Suffice to say I am not doing that ever again. If only they had listet how much of everything you were missing from each area, instead of just the total. Would have made everything much easier, IMO.

So the latest issue I'm having, I go and run through dialogue and don't press it...but then it's just sitting there and it does not resolve the dialogue chain. So I want the ability to be able to skip the dialogue you are sure you will never say, just get rid of it.

What I really hope for is that they finally give us some definitive answers about past events. Okay, so we got that with Solas to some extent in Trespasser but only on the subject of the elven gods and why the elves lost their immortality. It threw up a whole bunch of new questions as well as leaving a load of other ones outstanding. It was thoroughly annoying that if I had been able to ask the questions I wanted to, it would have included:
Who killed Mythal, how and why? Okay so he pointed the finger at the Evanuris collectively but I require a bit more detail before condemning them all.
When he speaks of the Evanuris, does he just mean the gods the Dalish call the Creators or was it the Forgotten Ones as well?
What does he know about the origins of the Blight? It is strange no one thought to ask him this in DAI considering he was always going on about how much he learned from the Fade. Then he got really steamed up about the Grey Warden plan to kill the last of the arch-demons and was generally rather critical of their modus operandi. I'm hoping this one gets answered because it has something to do with the necessity of his plan.
What about the actions of the Ancient Magisters and the Black City? Again, it was somewhat odd no one questioned him what he had discovered about this in the Fade considering our main enemy was a survivor of that endeavour. He said in Trespasser it never occurred to him that Corypheus might have learned the secret of effective immortality. Why not? How did he think he had survived down to the present day? Did he really do no background checks at all before handing over his orb to this guy?
To be honest, I always felt it a pity we never got to have a proper chat with Corypheus and we never really got to the bottom of what happened with him and the other Magisters. I'm hoping we travel to Weisshaupt next game and that we get some answers from the ancient records about the discovery of the Intelligent Darkspawn only after the lst Blight had ended. So where had they been the previous 200 years? Why did Corypheus seem to have no memory of his fellow Magisters after reaching the Black City? The Architect seemed to have no memory of his previous life at all. So why did it affect them in different ways?

Two more (fairly minor) things I remembered: I'd really like to be able to name saved games again, and I'd greatly prefer some manner of search/highlight function that doesn't ping like sonar. A key to highlight things, an in-game character based search skill... either way would be good.

My own opinion on the facts they've presented Well that's what I mean, we don't actually have any. You have all the trespasser stuff. Whether they are accurate facts is sort of beside the point when the game won't let you draw your own opinion but foists one on you.

It should offer specialized features or some form of customization, rather than just high-end items. I could see the Black Emporium having training grounds or some sort of lounge for us to meet new characters. I think it's a bit limited as a store.

I tried it once. Never again. Bio doesn't seem to care about completionists. Or maybe they hate them? Actually, I found completionist ME1 even worse. Doing it requires fighting the RP of the main quest every step of the way, since you can't play after winning the game.
I remember Mike Laidlaw mentioning something about completionists and the Hinterlands. He thought completionists would not bother exploring every nook and cranny of this map. Well, I fooled him. And, that's why I was pizzed at all that contentless space.

A nice idea. No doubt in my mind that MTXs is a feature of this BE.

I hope there aren't mandatory stealth sequences. I don't have much patience for sneaking around. Stealth could be an optional way to solve a quest if you play a rogue pc, but hopefully there would be other nonviolent methods to complete the quest if you play a mage pc, for example.

I hope there aren't mandatory stealth sequences. I don't have much patience for sneaking around. Stealth could be an optional way to solve a quest if you play a rogue pc, but hopefully there would be other nonviolent methods to complete the quest if you play a mage pc, for example. I actually loved setting up traps and backstabs in Origins. But if it's anything like the guards with huge red zones in Mark of the Assassin or the timed snooping of the Winter Palace then, yeah, strong agree.
