Mass Effect Andromeda Beta Testing going on now?

Just tried what Abramsrunner suggested ... For Science^TM.  Added The Witcher to my Origin list. Went to game properties, inserted "Witcher Enhanced Edition" to the custom title block. Launched the game. Origin then showed me "In Game" playing "Witcher Enhanced Edition".  Changed it to "The Witcher Enhanced Edition" and Origin showed the same "in game."  If I'd wanted, I could have called it "Sweet Meteor of Death" and that's what it would reflect.

That doesn't prove that folks on my FL would see the same, but there is a pretty good possibility that they would.  It also doesn't prove that the person shown as playing an ME:A closed beta is faking it, just the possibility that they could fake it.

In the past, when involved in a beta, I got a beta-unique persona, but I still logged into my normal Origin account to launch the game, which I'd added to my list of favorites. After the beta closed out and testing was done, my unique persona went away. I uninstalled the beta from my computer and deleted the beta game icon in Origin. Perhaps, for a closed beta, pre-game launch, they would issue a beta Origin account to each user, in addition to a beta persona ... but based on my very limited test sample of one game, that isn't necessarily the case.

Edit add:  One more point.  If it is viewable, check your FL buddy's games ... expand the "other games" option ... which I believe only shows the EA games, not non-EA games that a person adds to their personal Origin game view.  If the beta isn't listed, then there is a good chance your friend has named one of their non-EA games with a spoofed title of Mass Effect Andromeda closed beta ... or whatever the name is, since the beta doesn't show up on their games list.  Again, this is not definitive, but if they really are playing the beta ME:A, the game icon would probably show up in the "other games" list.
