I thought Cassandra was quite feminine. Her voice was fine. She may question herself but I don't think she lacks confidence the way Cora does. Idk, I banged both. If Cora liked smut written by a volus I could see a clearer similarity.

On the one hand, my reaction to Vetra's introduction scene is best summed up as "HELLO TALL SPACE GIRLFRIEND." But on the other: potential catsquid husbando!!! And I'm also liking Peebee a lot more than I expected to, given my feelings about Liara and most other Asari. (Suvi seems lovely, and Liam is perfect nice too, but there is just no way I'm dating a human on my first trip to this sexy new galaxy. I have hit on literally every alien that the game has given me the option to hit on, and I'm annoyed that I cannot try it on with more of them. Why doesn't Mass Effect ever let you flirt with Krogans???) |

My problem with Cora is Bioware never let the players know that she was an Asari huntress. They intentionally hid that important piece of back story away, so not cool. Yeah, I know. She talks about so many other things and it is just so weird that it doesn't even receive token mention. You'd think it would have come up at some point. I think the op is on to something. We could have a human female companion that talks about nothing but how she used to be a qunari sarabaas. Then her loyalty mission could be rescuing a qunari dreadnought from darkspawn. Finally our qunari companion could lecture her on cultural appropriation.  |

I prefer Cora because she has a more feminine voice. Do you think it would be a bad idea to include both Cassandra and another female knight who has a feminine voice as LIs in DA4? Do you think Bioware made Cora rather than another Cassandra because they think Mass Effect is a male dominated franchise? Cassandra's VA isn't a woman? Wow. That guy must be a talented voice actor. I had no idea. |

The only Cora related thing I want in DA4 is that sex scene... Honestly, we've had characters like this in Dragon Age, Cassandra and Aveline. Those two are actually well written characters and Cora was kind of boring. So long as they make this character interesting I'm all for it.

What do you speak about? Sten, Shale (1000 years old?), Wynne (~45-50 in Origins), Zevran (~25), Anders (~32 when met with Hawke), Nathaniel (~32 at Awakening), Cassandra (~38) Solas (~1000 years old), Cullen (~31 at the Inquisition), Dorian (~31 at the Inquisition), The Iron Bull (whatever, I don't know, but not a little chicken) Vivienne (~45?)... etc. And even the younger characters have a strong personality, even if that sometimes annoying. Alistair, Bethany, Carver, Sera – these aren't stereotypical or "mainstream". |
