I prefer Cora because she has a more feminine voice. Do you think it would be a bad idea to include both Cassandra and another female knight who has a feminine voice as LIs in DA4?
Do you think Bioware made Cora rather than another Cassandra because they think Mass Effect is a male dominated franchise?

Can't say either ended up particularly appealing to me, though Cora maybe more because Peebee blew her out of the water.
Think Cora & Cassandra were pretty similar archetypes. Short hair, warrior, all business up front with underbelly supposed to show their soft side(gardening vs erotic literature. Dragon Age went further out of the way in altering Cass even more butch looking, which yeah i don't think commercially Mass Effect would ever have done.

The voice actor of both are both women, therefore both of their voices are feminine. Claudia Black's Morrigan has been depicted as half naked and in a massive chest showing dress. Her voice has never been "delicate".
This is your 4th? or more post asking questions of core fans (not even the devs) about whether they'd accept petite, long haired, model-esque women in their games. Like we'd even get to pick.
Every time we answer "only if she were interesting." Otherwise, her pretty-ness (and we're talking about video game characters here) is a total waste because dating them is as interesting as dating some sparkly rocks.

But no doubt you meant Cassandra, and I have to stop you right there. Cass has one of the sexiest voices of any Bioware character ever. On a scale of 1 to 10 boners, Cass's voice is at least an 8, while, say, Leilana, the designated sex kitten of DAO, had a voice in the low 5s or even a 4. In DAO, anyway. They got the sexy accent right for Cass, and so wrong for Leliana.

They got the sexy accent right for Cass, and so wrong for Leliana. *disgusted noise* Sorry, not sorry. I've no problems with Cass herself, and speaking as a dude, I'm generally fine with the romances for straight dudes as they've appeared in the series thus far (although I'm also a straight dude who just as frequently plays characters other than straight dudes for story reasons, granted). But frankly, all that said, I'd rather never hear anything like that awful fake accent ever again. |

I am playing Andromeda for the first time right now and I'm kind of meh about Cora, so I would have to say no to another one. On the other hand, I could use more ladies like Vetra Nyx. In fact, I could just use more Vetra Nyx.
(I know there are no Turians in Thedas. She could fall through a portal! And if she were a romance option in Dragon Age 4, that would solve my current dilemma about who my Ryder should bang in Andromeda.)
