Hippies really need to grow up on that front. Meat is delicious. It isnt about growing up or anything. Eating meat is an entirely personal decision just like eating takeout food is. Some people do it some people dont. Diet is no indication of maturity. Unless you eat candy non stop... that probably would be Censorship of diet is indicator of maturity though. Due to the myriad of factors surrounding the simple production of foodstuffs, that should be evidently clear. Maybe I should clarify my position a bit better. Those who choose not eat meat, they are not who I refer to, those who seek to supplant meat foodstuffs and products and ban them outright are who I refer to. From the simple fact that the meat producing industry just in the simple process of slaughtering the meat its nearly 3,000 slaughterhouses employing roughly 17,000 people across the nation, and the transportation of that meat which provides employment to several more thousand, you need to consider packaging, and inspection and all the roles and assorted economics that roll around with it. The people I speak of do not consider this, and therefore they to my eye need to grow up and look at how the world operates. If you find something detestable and choose not to partake, that's a personal choice, seeking to remove the employment of tens of thousands of people out of petty spite however goes beyond that.

It is it shows an awareness of health and other things so yeah I agree with the first sentence
I wouldnt say that its an immature look on the world though just a narrow minded one... in a way. I can see where theyre coming from and partly agree but theyre not thinking about the real world applications of it... basically.

My main point was this: GLOBAL WARMING IS A GOOD THING FOR ALL LIFEAnalyses of oxygen isotopes in marine fossils suggest that Jurassic global temperatures were generally quite warm. Geochemical evidence suggests that surface waters in the low latitudes were about 20 °C (68 °F), while deep waters were about 17 °C (63 °F). www.britannica.com/science/Jurassic-PeriodMy second point was: and IT IS NOT EVEN MAN MADE. Yeah right. And I'm guessing an asteroid hitting earth is a good thing for life too, right? Cause hey, it happened millions of years ago and many species prospered on earth after that and probably just because of that, so it must be a good thing to happen now too. /Shakes head in disbelief Also, please stop posting articles from newspapers like they're some sort of evidence. They're pretty much poo 99% of the times. You wanna support your argument, bring evidence. Real evidence.

Bit of a strange and morbid factoid, but something that spooked me quite a bit is that in one of the recent years there were zero, literally zero reported cases of rape committed by a white male against a black female. It's just weird thinking about it.

HAHAHAHA....Suck it Britain. I just learned...the lead actress for the BBC show Orphan Black is Canadian/American...( Tatiana Maslany ) .....which means she is speaking in a horrible british accent as an american... as opposed to how it normally goes the other way around...AKA..Lauren Cohan " Maggie " in The Walking Dead. Britain, if Benedict Cumberbatch turned out to be an american, ...there would have been riots..... also, I do have a msg for both of our countries........cuz I do like to jab at each other about this accent thing...but how I really feel is...

To be fair - that big ol' asteroid smashing into the planet *was* good for many forms of life - in the same way that a forest fire is good for many types of plant, it allows their seeds to germinate and grab the opportunity in the newly cleared ashes of what went before. So sidestepping the potentially world-ending scenario where the warmer climate causes the great ocean currents to stop operating as there's not enough of a temperature differential to power them ... thereby causing the seas to stagnate and, being warmer, hold less oxygen thus exterminating most marine life ... except purple bacteria which love those conditions. Which produce sulphur as a metabolic by-product - which oxydises creating sulphuric acid ... which enters the water cycle, pollutes the atmosphere (turning the sky an attractive green in the process) and causes mass extinction on the land through acid rain and acidification of the soil ... leading Earth to an all-but-barren future, though quite pretty with purple seas and green skies. ... *pause for breath* ... that remote possibility aside ... a warmer climate and rising sea levels that destroy most of the world's large human population centres could be a good thing for many forms of life - it took the extinction of the dinosaurs for the mammals to gain ascendency, once we're gone it might be a great time to be a lizard, or a plant.

Ha! I've read a lot of the series. Fun stuff but pls more editing Awesome to meet someone who's read the lost fleet! Very few have. I never knew I needed realistic fleet combat in my books until this series. The first black fleet books come really close to scratching that particular itch too. The second one kind of jumps the shark, and I haven't read the third one. What do you mean by editing? Did I mis-spell something? Nah I wasn't talking about you It's been a few years since I read them- I was more referring to the books needing more finesse in the editing department.

The custom of putting candles on cakes dates back to the ancient Greeks who believed the smoke carried their thoughts up to the gods.
According to research, people with acne tend to stay younger looking than those without.
It's not illegal in some countries to try to escape from prison, provided that no laws are broken while free, as it's believed that it's human nature to try to escape.
Tipperary Hill, NY has a traffic light that is reversed due to the lights being smashed because historically Irish residents disliked having British red colors over Irish green.
For $113,000, you can buy an anti-zombie cabin fully furnished with escape routes, power, supplies, water cannons, search lights, etc for a 10 year guarantee that if you can prove a zombie made it past the barricades, you get your money back.

I don't know what's the most astonishing I've heard. I tend to not get much surprised by anything these days. But I was rather astonished by hearing Bob Dylan got the Nobel Price in literature. ...I can honestly say that. My comment? About f***** time! ...But it still seems rather strange...

According to the information, it has a bedroom, a garage, kitchen, bathroom, living room, tv, XBOX, barbed wire on the rooftop deck with an escape hatch and flame throwers. Images show that it's made of concrete so I'm pretty sure they aimed for as much overkill luxury as possible! Personally, I'd go for it if it had a self-sustainable garden, water filters and underground tunnels leading to other shelters! I'd love to see what it'd take to prove that a zombie is really a zombie since people can just hire actors to overrun the compound!

Also why do you need barbed wire on the rooftop deck? Shouldn't the elevation be sufficient protection from the undead hordes? That just seems like a health hazard! Lets be honest though. All of this became irrelevant the second you mentioned flame throwers. The place will be burnt to the ground within a week. xD

Most astounding fact? Not only that Donald Trump is running for president, but that he actually has the support of a great number of people. Now that is astounding. Add to that the fact that The Simpsons predicted it? Mind blown.
