It works right until that moment the omni-button screws you up.
If I may add, there also seriously needs to be some special place in hell for those who follow the N7 Shadow and snipe anything she chooses to Shadow Strike. Not only it is frustrating to strike an empty space, it also exposes the Shadow, making her a perfect target for the enemy.

You say all of that as if any of it was a bad thing...

Now that I have had my early morning moment of randy thought, I still like her for the once in a while stroll down Shoulda-had-Iframes lane.

Lots of examples in the list, however, that indicate that the OP itself, may just be, a PUG. That is what makes it comedy; the tinge of bitterness I feel from the author

I was not complaining Doc. The post was sarcastic, as it's obvious there are some players who'll outscore you on any given day.

I do agree with nitrous on this though, especially when it comes to teammates deliberately sniping enemies with Shields. 

However, if I may so bold as to borrow a little bit of Qui-Gon GlenN7's self-confidence, it would never bother me enough to stop playing her because my Shadow is like totally awesome dude.

This is exactly the point. The girl is so flimsy even a single stray bullet can be enough to take her down sometimes, and there is usually more than one situation during a game when it's get those shields RIGHT F NOW or die.
And on top of all that, them FUGgers won't revive you in most cases.


To me, she's like the violin - while you're learning to play it, everyone suffers. Once you've mastered it, you can stunlock people with your amazing performance.
Not my case though.

There are quite a few characters that have a steep learning curve, which results in a lot of people playing them poorly (ACA, N7 Slayer, TME, N7 Fury and the like), and to me, Shadow is one of them. She definitely isn't that "press x to win" type of character, there are several tricks to her that are crucial for her survival, and there are quite a few things one has to get used to when learning to play her (you might be slaying Silver, but when you first come to Gold, you'll probably be dead most of the time, because the DR is increased, the shield recharge speed is slower, enemies hit harder etc).
But yeah, I agree that sticking to spamming Electric Slash is just plain boring, although it might be effective in some cases since it goes through walls and can do some decent damage.
