Yeah those mods boost both SS and melee, but I was saying you get more damage w/ a shotgun w/ Omni-blade instead of a pistol with the two mods. Don't worry about screen shake. Play your game and not others, although I'd still try to avoid Tech in an all Biotic lobby. Yeah, I was afraid combining those mods wouldn't do the trick and now that you've confirmed that it doesn't, I'll play a few games and choose the weapon I like most. And yeah, I do worry about what people think of me and I try to be a team player, so I'll never play a tech character on a biotic team unless they ask me to do so for some reason. If you're specced for full melee and Power Amp, even with duration cloak, you should still OHK almost all shielded mooks with SS. If it doesn't die after a heavy melee fixes that. Her heavy melee also hits multiple targets so it can be a nice "oh shit" button. Well, the thing is I'm a bit stingy when it comes to using good equipment on gold, so I haven't really tried that - instead, I would try to make it work with an Acolyte. Unfortunately, I still have very little money and thus a limited access to consumables - but I think that time and practice will fix it. But yeah, I LOVE love love her heavy melee, especially for ES-cancelling or disarming a-bombs. And I also enjoy the view of PUGs dashing away from me every time I do so  |

I haven't yet taken this girl to Platinum - she's way too squishy for a scrub like me, so I'd just spend all my time eating concrete and admiring that sexy ass of my Juggy friend, which is nice, but not really the way I'd like to play this game. And I completely forgot about those AP Rounds - probably because I tried this gun on Silver first, which most likely means I didn't use any consumables. Now that I think about it, this setup should be very, very good. But I did take her to Gold, and found that an Acolyte shot is very helpful when dealing with shielded mooks, because it allows you to one-shot them with your SS. What I like to do now is to find a group of mooks, pick a shielded one and an unshielded straggler, release my Acolyte shot and take out the former, then manually cancel the cloak and take out the latter - and then take cover for some 2 seconds until I can cloak again, rinse and repeat the whole process. It doesn't work on bosses though, so I take a Hurricane to deal with them. Yeah she is very squishy for Platinum. But the thing is, you really shouldn't be on enemy radar most of the time. I think on Platinum, the only enemies that are truly annoying for the Shadow are Geth enemies. Because they always seem to know where I am. And they seem to just.... melt her health. Ok I'll stop.  Also, Primes are annoying for her too. I played a few Platinum games with her last night, and I played her pretty well and it was a lot of fun. And as much as I hate to admit this, I think the most effective build for Platinum is Acolyte/Hurricane. But running just an Acolyte for her on Gold is a lot of fun for reasons you mentions. I think it might be one of my favorite gold builds actually. Weird because I hate the Acolyte. Its also really satisfying to come up on a shields enemy fire an acolyte shot at them to stun them and slice their face off. I also tried the suppressed pistol to go with the whole stealth theme. I didn't really like that gun on her or in general. |

the only enemies that are truly annoying for the Shadow are Geth enemies. Because they always seem to know where I am Because they do - AFAIK, Primes and Hunters do not care about TC at all, and Rocket Troopers are known to be cheaters - and on top of that, if one enemy detects you somewhere, it immediately informs others about your location, so unless you have a big injured squadmate, things are going to get tricky. Weird because I hate the Acolyte. Its also really satisfying to come up on a shields enemy fire an acolyte shot at them to stun them and slice their face off. I hate it, too - I don't really like all weapons with charging mechanics (yes, Arc Pistol and GPS included!), but it's the best thing there is to strip enemies' shields effectively + it gives a stun bonus and primes targets. And the Shadow really needs all three of these. I also tried the suppressed pistol to go with the whole stealth theme. I didn't really like that gun on her or in general. I haven't tried it yet, but I suppose I wouldn't like it either - the gun isn't really forgiving and requires a lot of finesse to be effective. And you're already a space ninja, why would you need some shitty pistol anyways? It doesn't get any stealthier than that |

I like the list but may not fully agree w all the points:
#2 No consumables can work fine in a decent group, although why people with a manifest of more than 100 hours playtime would bother skipping them is beyond me
#12 TGI w/GCV - when I would roll over my infiltrators and take my level 1 TGI into Gold or Plat with a really weak team, on a laggy host, I have done this in the past
#19 I gel (insta) and ops as required when pugging and rarely (if ever) expect my team to handle the last enemy
#20 Nothing wrong with being in the open in a team game. That's why I give my characters fitness, so i don't have to hump RHA continually. Besides, if you kill them fast they wont have time to hurt you
#27 Explosive ammo ftw! (on the acolyte)
#46 Biotic Charge FTW!!! BC overcomes all!!! Drell Vanguard knows no limitations
#59 PPR is great at high levels, but for most players who only have it at low ranking, it suffers the same problem as the Lancer and CSMG, not enough ammo to be great. Especially considering the ramp up.

55. You think that a player's N7 rating somehow corresponds to their ability level. This is absurdly true. I rarely promote my characters because I'm too lazy to start from 1 again, so my N7 rank is roughly 300'ish. I've been vote kicked many times because of it. |

The thing about high N7 or challenge goons like me is that it means we play a lot not that we are great, also because I am trying to chew up points I am almost never playing a level 20 characters and often playing with guns or abilities I do not favour just because of objectives.
I'm sure I severely disappoint team mates in many games with my level of play.

You might be a pug if you only use TI with CHarrier If you are going to go with the OP, you might as well go big. Many of the Turian kits are extremely impressive. I PUG a lot, which means that I like to use "strong" kits. You never know when you have to carry a wave. To that end, if I am wrapping up a mastery, lets say Assault Rifles, I prefer to use my GI. People hate it and think I am score whoring, but the truth is I just love playing my GI. We are fast and smooth, unsuspected and undetected. We cannot be bargained with. We have no remorse. And we will never stop.

I have a favorite that I usually play in each class. For some reason I really enjoy playing the Geth trooper as well as the Vorcha Pryos. Burning all of the things is a blast - especially if you have someone who likes to detonate . I really have a lot of fun with the Kroguard too - I don't even Reegar cheese on him anymore. You are right, however. Every class is powerful, and so is every kit. Any well played kit can completely rock it. I'm good at every class (like that's hard to do) but not the top dog on every kit - that is a much higher skill cap in my opinion. Some kits just feel squishy to me. Rather than spend the time to "get good" I just went back to my mainstays because I hate getting wrecked and being a burden on the team.
