Not really ME3MP related but... I just contacted EA support and had some games deleted from my account (hiding just wasn't enough) and amongst these games: Mass Effect Andromeda. I gave it another chance in both SP and MP and had around 180 hours logged in Origin but it just does not get better. The worst part is probably that I knew it after 5-10 hours and just kept hoping and hoping but in the end I pretty much wasted 180 hours. Guilty pleasure: ME1-3 and ME3MP are just so much better...

If only I didn't hate Falcon that much... I'd actually slap the Adas Washing Machine on this one. inert, thanks a lot for the builds! I'll actually try that FQE + Arc Pistol build, because I need to git gud at headshots as well, and this weapon is perfect for that. As for HSols, I do have exactly these two - I copypasted Sonashii 's HFSol'S Claymoar build, and the Cryo Soldier is pretty standard. As for HEng, one of my friends told me to use the "suicidal drone" build, but I'm not really sure how to make good use of it. Could you please share yours? Because I do feel that the good old vanilla Engie can wreak some havoc, but in my hands it's just another squishy human. And as for any biotic character - well, I mostly play under heavy lag conditions (I have to wait half a second before I know if I landed a headshot or missed), so they are almost unplayable for me, because no booms and missing powers. I just contacted EA support and had some games deleted from my account (hiding just wasn't enough) I thought I was the only one to have done so, although it wasn't ME:A for me. And the original trilogy is just plain addictive.

Because I do feel that the good old vanilla Engie can wreak some havoc, but in my hands it's just another squishy human. I've shared My head-poppin' HEng before. But you can definitely alter it. Drone: I only use full drone on my VMS, and it is an excellent power. The problem I have is that I already opt for Chain Overload, such that the Chain Drone is redundant and the power is of little use to me beyond rank 4. If I wanted Overload to be stronger on a single target, I would take full Drone. This build skips it as I use it for headshot training. You can start with the Arc Pistol to make life easier, but I prefer the Carnifex for style points and large clip to chain more headshots if you catch a spawn just right. Paladin or Talon can also be used, and all of these will be more viable for platinum than the Carnifex. Keep chaining tech bursts, fire explosions and headshots and things will die quick. Without a power amp or a change in build, some enemies' shield/barriers will protect them (notably phantoms) from the initial overload shield strip. An overload and two headshots is enough to do in any enemy on Gold. The other build I have is 46664 Cryo Falcon, which I think you've seen. You can swap for ADAS, or Lancer and keep up the chained explosions. Staggering with powers will keep you alive and you can be effective at all ranges.

Thanks a lot! I was thinking of taking full drone on my HFEng and no drone on my HMEng, so I'll use yours as the build for the latter. As I've said many times, I'm total rubbish at headshots (I'm lucky to have that 20 headshots medal by the end of, say, Wave 9), so it means I have to git gud at poppin' heads (as it makes a great difference in killing speed on upper difficulty levels) - although I have to admit that the training itself is rather tiresome and leaves me quite disappointed after every game. As for that Cryo Falcon build - I've been using exactly that till now, only with ADAS, but I just keep dying left and right. Guess I must be doing something wrong then.

But Adas is an auto-aim weapon, and primes quite reliably, so for someone whose aim is as crappy as mine, Adas is better. And (everyone here will hate me for saying so) I don't really like the sound Falcon makes.

Namely, I thought you had to aim it, and try to do direct damage with it. I was raised by thr Saber, and the Falcon made no sense to me. Then I watched Crimson Vanguard take his Falcon GI, slap on Incendiary Ammo, and with very little effort absolutely obliterate the map. Of course, GI, but I learned a lot watching him... It is a bounce weapon, aim in front of the group or the one. Bank it off the wall like a pool player. It has an AoE burst if it hits off-bounce, primes anything in the grenade radius, and is not hard to use. It is akin to an M79 Grenade Launcher - you just have to aim near the target. Aim low, it is killer.

But Falcon does auto-aim? Uh? How? Really? How did that happen? (c) I thought you had to aim it, and try to do direct damage with it That's what I tried to do - I tried to shoot shit in the face with it, and shit just laughed back at me, shot back at me, and took me down. But if I get it right now... Is it more like a big Acolyte without the charge mechanics? If so, then I've been doing it all wrong. I'll definitely try to use it like a grenade launcher and see how it goes.

It's not.Lolcolyte removes the shield with a single shot(mooks) and falcon can't do it.I can agree that falcon is fun,but in fact is worst projectile weapon and one of the worst weapons in general. It works good with some characters, but its killing speed is just awful. On gold could work well tho.

wasnt there smtg about bouncing falcon and acolyte to do more damage ? Anyway, falcon shoots faster, straight, is light, apply ammo, and stagger, plus can be reliably bounced on walls/cover, not like acolyte (shitty dps wise for sure, more like a tool)

Falcon is not for Tryhard McScorewhore... It is a team play gun, and I prefer it immensely to Acolyte. muahmuah, I understand your perspective is always that of soloist performance, and from that perspective I agree. But, in off-host PuG with some lag, I do argue that it is a superior weapon to both Adas and Venom.

But, in off-host PuG with some lag, I do argue that it is a superior weapon to both Adas and Venom. Even though I use the Falcon more and vastly prefer it, it simply is not better than either the Adas or Venom even under the conditions mentioned. I prefer it because I love weapon variety and weird builds. It's almost as good, but suffers against boss enemies and requires shield-stripping abilities for full cryo effectiveness. Now back to pugging with the Vindicator.

The falcon staggers reliably and works good with the clip extension for that. You just need a way to deal with bosses. Biotic + warp iv make it even work for that kinda!!!!

I guess we'll agree to disagree then, as I consider your pugonometry on par with my own Adas for me fails to lock on more than it should, and point blank it fails compared to Falcon. To be fair, this past week has been all Wraith on every kit

Talking about Wraith on all kits. At some point I actually went through the trouble to literally equip it on every kit in the game as the default loadout. Even on kits I never play and have not spent skill points on. Weird, I know... but you just can't go wrong with the Wraith so whatever kit I pick that I have hardly any experience with (or none at all) I sure as hell won't totally fail with because at least I have the Wraith equipped
