As a general rule of thumb, the faster food spoils, the healthier it is to consume

Conversely, if something has an indefinite shelf-life, (without cooking) it might not be the best thing to eat

14 days to the holiest of holy days. Any pies people are planning. If I get my sleep I may go crazy. Have pizza dough ready to bake off in the morning for a breakfast pizza or more if I bring it into work. And then more pizza when I get home. Well the dough will be ready it’s almost always ready at my house. I bought a separate fridge just to for proofing dough and put in pizza dough balls for proofing. But getting up early enough to bake it for breakfast on the way to work is shaky.


At least one pot pie and two dessert pies.

Pot pie I’m leaning towards either a duck confit poutine pot pie or a chipotle carne asada pot pie.

Dessert I have no idea on yet.

Blueberries like most fruit don't truly come into their own unless baked into a dessert or pastry of some kind.

Steak and potatoes pizza. Smoked tri tip for the steak. The potatoes are some mandolin sliced russets tossed in a smidge of oil and a bbq spice rub cooked for 20 in my air fryer, not long enough to crisp them like chips but cook them through so the 7 minutes in my oven on the pizza doesn’t leave me with raw potato.

Pizza tonight. I managed to shape it into something close to a circle. Pepperoni, 1/2 has olives, 1/2 sardines. I had a bunch of cheese that got lost in the fridge. It’s a bit past it’s prime so I’m using that, a manchego.(Pack has 2 other types as well I’ll use those next) melting cheese saves cheese on the old side. Sardines were an experiment to see if I liked them now. Well I don’t dislike them, but I don’t like them enough to do it again.

A good simple pasta combination.

Swap the hazelnuts for almost any other nut and I’d be in. Especially fake nuts like peanuts.
