I know... it's so bizarre. Is he just trying to be edgy/cute or is it possible that someone could actually have taste this bad? I guess you who have no idea how opinions work, do you? Don't start with me andy

Hawkeye is awesome using a 'bow staff'
I like Spideys presence of mind to execute his plan while also explaining it.

I wasn't even aware folks didn't like AoU, I thought it was pretty good too. I mean sure, its a comic book movie so if Ultron's red glowy bit on the back of his shoulder is 3 inches lower than in the comic all the sudden its "ZOMG worst movie ever!". Still for sane people I thought it was a solid experience.

Still for sane people I thought it was a solid experience. The movie is kind of a mixed bag for me. It's a solid movie and I liked it enough to own it, but I think Whedon was not really on top of things here. I think its greatest weakness is that it doesn't elevate above the first Avengers much at all. I hate Quicksilver. I hate him enough that every scene he was in kinda bothered me, and I think it was the stupid accent. Scarlet Witch's accent was terrible too, but not as much and I think she was acted a bit better. Of course, I don't think anyone can argue against the Hulkbuster. It was so nice to finally see that thing on the big screen. I think what ultimately won me over was Vision. His final scene with Ultron is one of my favorite little moments in these movies.

I would place Black Panther in the lower tier of MCU movies, and Killmonger somewhere in the upper-middle of Marvel villains, next to Zemo. Scratch that reverse it? Black Panther was mid-tier as a movie, Killmonger was utterly forgettable. MCU villains aren't really the greatest, but I'd rank them as follows: 1.Thanos 2.Loki 3.Ego 4.Hela 5.Zemo Zemo will probably always be my number one pick if only for the simple fact that he, a non-powered, non-super person actually accomplished his goal without ever even having to fight the Avengers (up until the very end of the film at least). Granted, he’s a super duper ultra black ops agent so he’s good at decrypting HYDRA shit, but aside from that handwave, he has no powers of any kind, nothing that makes him particularly special, but he broke apart the Avengers without even firing a shot or snapping his fingers.

I think Renner really turned out to be a proper fit for Hawkeye. But then I think just about everyone they cast for the primary hero characters are pitch perfect.

Still for sane people I thought it was a solid experience. I just wish they chose a different title. Age of Ultron the movie has dick to do with Age of Ultron the story. Granted, Age of Ultron is by far and away the titular character’s most famous outing so it’s understandable why they chose it, but it still kinda bothers me just as a fan that it has nothing whatsoever to do with the book’s plot progression, short of sharing the villain. Also movie Ultron is a complete pushover compared to comic Ultron.

Yeah Zemo is criminally underrated. He's the type of villain that could exist in just about any kind of movie, which I guess works against him when everyone else is all spangly and colorful and shoots lightning. But among all the antagonists, his motivations are by far the strongest, because it's the most believable. But I love that he made the Avengers look the most vulnerable because of what you describe.

Um, that was a complaint? I have no idea, it was just an example I made up of the ridiculous stuff people complain about in these movies. Fact you had to ask kinda proves that. I just wish they chose a different title. Age of Ultron the movie has dick to do with Age of Ultron the story. I don't really know anything about Ultron in the comics so that wasn't a big deal to me. I enjoyed the movie for what it was. Now that Disney brought (is bringing or whatever) the Fox titles under their umbrella I kinda wish they had waited to do a proper introduction of Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver and mutants into the MCU. That's a pretty "hindsight is 20/20" type complaint though.

With how fractured the marvel universe has been all this time, I don't think Disney could ever integrate the whole thing, even if the Fox deal goes through, until they finally complete these phases and start over from scratch.
