The PPR thing is a stylistic discussion! This game man... I generally would have the same issues using the PPR with Jugg for SP spam, because muh rampup is serious business. But, that's because I'm fixated on the head, and killing with the gun... I can see ramping the PPR just as high as you need to go to prime a whole spawn, spam your SPs out, then kill what's left with PPR. This is my theory on that playstyle. I prefer Hurricane and Mantis on Juggs. This^ (though, admittedly, I've not yet tried Hurricane and Mantis combo). My preference is to use the Jugg as a Soldier i.e. prime with Incendiary Ammo and then detonate all the things with Siege Pulse, the main exceptions to this rule being Phantoms and Nemesis, whom I'll happily melee till their shields are stripped and then SP and/or shootify till they's deadified . As to the Hex Shield (especially the small variety), though it has some value, nowadays I've seen the light and don't spec into it (build).Weapon? - I like the PPR (with Mag' Upgrade and High-Velocity Barrel) but agree that its ramp-up is a pain when things get particularly heated. The Lancer works well for me as it's considerably lighter than the PPR and so cuts a couple of seconds off the Siege Pulse's cooldown, which is nice. An Adrenaline Module should be considered compulsory when he's facing an unknown map, because Rio . By the by, when I'm jugging and have a Phantom (or, if I'm in a pinch, a boss) hanging off my heavy melee, I don't mind terribly if my teammates so-called 'steal the kill' - that's, IMO, part-and-parcel of the game's mechanics when playing said behemoth.

One of the ways I run him: linkydinkytokillybilly. With this setup it´s shoot, sp, shoot, sp, shoot, sp, shoot, reload hide thru sp, reengage sp and start cycle new. Or I use this ( I switch it up sometimes with the spitfire ) and just shoot all the damn things and don´t give a fuck about sp. Or SP spammer supreme. Nuff said. Edit: I always take 5a in the fitness tree.

The way you guys mentioned is similar to how I played my Juggernaut as well. Though I am sure I will get booed for my choice of weapon of choice and attachments at the time (Reegar with omni blade)... - What weapon is good for the Cerberus Defector Adept? I generally use Hornet/Acolyte with him. He doesn't really need weapons but what fits good with him? I'm asking for Platinum really. The Reegar definitely works fine for the Jugg (though as Grunt says, may as well lose the blade attachment as its benefit is minuscule), it appears to be the preferred weapon for plat solos with the Jugg (its what I used for mine), but as with any other kit you get style points deducted for using that filthy abomination of a gun. GPS or Venom are awesome because you're just this walking tower of stagger: GPS/Venom+Siege Pulse+Tech Bursts= stagger all the things. Dragoons and Geth Hunters run away from you with those setups. And I use the Arc Pistol, Talon, or Venom (surprise) on the Smashdept.

I guess I can explain how it works lol Main goal is to spam Siege Pulse and Fire Explosions. Even Post Nerf-Hell Krysae is really good for that as it staggers little guys (crowd control is very helpful for the Juggy) and it reliably procs the Incendiary Ammo. If I'm playing against Geth or Cerberus (fuck Cerberus) I'll run Disruptor instead. It's not that great at killing bosses, so on higher difficulties you may not be able to stomp your teammates on the scoreboard, but they'll appreciate you annihilating all of the annoying little guys. Overall, it's a pretty standard build that's capable of doing work against all factions

-What is the best build for the Demolisher Engineer? I like to have Arc Grenades and Homing Grenades for most amount of grenades and easy tech bursts. But a friend told me to ignore Homing Grenades and put it into fitness so she can take some hits. The build I had before had her at 700 shields and 650 health with maxed arc/Homing Grenades. I had more fun with it than when I tried a pure arc grenade build I tried with her. Though I can't imagine this build being effective on Platinum. I only ever cleared Platinum once with this build, but I had good team mates. Team-mates on 360 are not reliable AT ALL. Here's my DemoGirl build for gold, for Plat I use a Cyclonic. - What weapon is good for the Cerberus Defector Adept? I generally use Hornet/Acolyte with him. He doesn't really need weapons but what fits good with him? I'm asking for Platinum really. I generally use the Talon w/ AP, Power Mag, Heavy Barrel. Build. You could skip Lash if you're playing strictly for Plat, but it does creat some funny moments with Abombs and it's useful for Phantoms and shit.

Thank you gents for the suggestions. But I have two questions about the Demolisher.
1. With that little shields, how do you survive on Platinum with her? I'm guessing camp like crazy (don't Banshees make this tough?). Even with Cyclonic mods, I don't see them helping that much to keep her alive.
2. And the most important question of all: Why is she called Demogirl? Is this like High Lord for Claymore? Not complaining, I like the sound of Demogirl for her. I've just never heard these names before.
I also tried the Juggernaut as you guys recommended. He's a monster played this way. Unless I was doing dumb things like running out in the open with Scions everywhere, I did really well. I used the Geth Spitfire with him. It was pretty effective and I only zapped shields on certain types of enemies or only when I needed shields.

Even with Cyclonic mods, I don't see them helping that much to keep her alive. On a serious note. It's all about right hand advantage and Arc Grenades stunning everything. Shield/Healthgates are vital to survival as well. 2. And the most important question of all: Why is she called Demogirl? Is this like High Lord for Claymore? Not complaining, I like the sound of Demogirl for her. I've just never heard these names before. Not sure why, I came on to the game really late, but there's two things I can think of: 1) She's a female character called the Demolisher, 2) probably comes from the movie Demolition Man (Demo Man) w/ Sylvester Stalone and Wesley Snipes that some older ME3 fans saw. I never saw the movie, but had the pinball machine at one point and boy was that fun to play.

Or I go around the map stunning everything with an arc grenade, and then using a homing grenade, and firing off a couple of charged arc pistol shots in the process. 2. It's BSNer terminology from way way back, and we still call claymore High Lord now because why not . I'm not a 100% about the demo girl. The High Lord name came like around maybe late 2012, or 2013 or 2014. I'm not sure, but I can vouch for the fact the, the High Lord name was not invented last year or at the beginning of this year .

And a hilarious script. I must have seen that movie more than 10 times (including both the Pizza Hut and Taco Bell versions, for those in the know). It's a classic. One of those films you can now watch with the present US Commander-in-Chief in place, and simply wonder when (not if) the law is going to change to allow for President Schwarzenegger. Enhance your calm John Spartan! As for the name: she's a girl who demolishes. I remember a quite extensive period on BSN when the concept of 'grills' on the internet or in games was largely dismissed as an elaborate hoax (as a joke, obviously, for the most part at least), and I think she became the DemoGrill for a while around then and it stuck, in one form or another.

No-TC Human Infil Cryo Solder.I hate cloak in general. To hell with optimal builds (46664 would work better, obv). I decided to spend a respec on the Human Infi and went TC-less, focusing on Cryo weakening and Sticky grenades. I under-use the wraith and found it a good pairing here. Pretty fun although I doubt the pugs realized how aggro-friendly I was. Think I'll keep this build as is.

Why I no spec 46664 and just not use cloak unless necessary? 'cuz I hate cloak. Due to my preference for non-optimal builds (and distinct lack of skill) I don't kill fast enough to make up for aggro dumping if I use cloak. I will not be the cause of a negative experience for all the fresh-faced pugs out there.

Still, it would be the perfect solution to the Shadow's Duration versus Damage debate: neither! Seriously though, at the risk of opening that whole can of worms again, I played my Melee-focused, no-ES Piranha Shadow in a couple of games yesterday, with Duration Cloak as I always advocate. She's epic, and has no weakness as far as I'm concerned. I used Cloak as an evasive tactic on a single occasion, and met a People's Elbow whilst attempting to SS a Marauder precisely once as well, probably the first time in 10 games, maybe more. I will regularly play Pugs as the only non-Infiltrator with a lobby full of them, so I do know what the aggro dump can feel like, and I obviously try not to run around in Cloak for that reason. One of my games started as a duo with a Valkyrie Sentinel on Jade and we got 5 waves survived before anyone else joined us, so I think we both knew what we were doing. I'll never know if we would have managed 10WS as the other players who joined us messed up whatever rhythm we had, but it was still a successful mission.

I am not ready yet to spec out of TC, but one of my HInfs uses the 46664 wraith build, and it's always a blast to play it! (at least when I hit with some of the stickies ); I use inc ammo though, the extra damage from a cryo blast-enhanced fire explosion does a number on armoured targets (plus it looks and sounds nice ). My own, new, weird basic human build is the tech bursting Krysae HSent. Throw detonates tech bursts, lethal on mooks and shields. For bosses, I like to use warp for the first tech burst for its debuff (worth the extra cooldown time alone) and the eventual biotic detonation. It is certainly no Venom (or even Acolyte!), and that's the point for me: an unusual combination that forces me to work around its shortcomings. In particular, the small magazine and long reload require awareness of the situation, and even then, TECH ARMOR allows for last-minute escapes! The only complain I have is that the shooting delay does not match perfectly with throw's cooldown: that would have made for smoother gameplay. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it enough to throw it out there; if anyone is looking for a change of pace, might want to give it a shot!

It was pretty effective and I only zapped shields on certain types of enemies or only when I needed shields. Hehehe... Some of your questions have been answered, but I prefer one playstyle for DemoGrill that other's haven't mentioned (recently). It is a Gold build, IMO the gold build, but that's because I like melee. Skip Homing Nades, max Fitness for melee, Arc 'Nades for Damage Damage and Armor Damage, and passives for power damage. Equip Wraith/Claymore with Smart Choke and Omni-Blade, use AP or Drill Ammo. Her light melee is effective (especially with boosters), but it is her Heavy Melee that pwns the enemy. It is relatively fast, does good damage, and has an AoE effect that will stagger groups of mooks, and OSK health-only enemies. See a spawn of Marauders, Cannibals and Husks? Sprint right at them, tossing a nade on your way. Get a lock on one of them in the middle of the group, and punch them. They're dead, next! For Platinum, soft-cover and roll, use a good gun, and she is as good or better than any non-infi kit in the game.

That... actually sounds like a really fun build actually. I do like her heavy melee, but I had no idea it had an AoE to it. I like running Venom on her for Shotguns but I may change it to Claymore to give it a try. For Platinum, I just find it difficult to "camp" or displace because enemies like Banshees and Dragoons can make it hard to camp. I generally run the Typhoon/Venom for her for Platinum. Also, I am hating Platinum lately. And not for the reasons you think. I keep having this annoying Phantoms glitch were I cannot HEAR them at all. They make no noise when they attack or when they are in the distance. I had a new one that was rage inducing. I kept hearing what sounded like Phantoms right behind me all the time. Every time I turn around to look, there is nothing there. And then one attacks me from nowhere. I even saw one taking cover on thin air in this run. Platinum already has enough to deal with, I don't need this constant nuisance. Its happened to me at least 5 times already.

I would try not to worry about it too much, at least until this so-called 'glitch' is accompanied by oily vertical shadowy or ghostly shapes, a weird vibration like a rumble of deep thunder, and the feeling you're running in slow motion. (Edit: I may have messed up the quote attemting to credit Qui-Gon GlenN7 with a most excellent DemoGrill suggestion)
