Looks I missed some good Juggernaut discussion. Personally, I'd never use the PPR with a Siege Pulse spam build, since I feel like the ramp up is too counterproductive to frequent power use. Also, I can't remember, but is combo detonation damage affected by power strength modifiers? Either way, I take pretty much every 'bad' choice that reduces damage output - big shield, 6b fitness, and no passives - and I've never felt like my output was lacking, even on Platinum. My preferred Incendiary applicator is the Adas - good proc rate, bonus to shields, lots of ammo. I rarely use the shield, but I feel like having the extra health and large shield gives me a lot more freedom of movement, I don't have to worry as much about positioning and the availability of cover. All that said, though, as long as you're not playing a melee Jug, and you're happy with your setup, then I'm all for it.

Like Grunt says in ME2: "I get it now."
Venom is love, Venom is life. And Fury is bae. Put the two together and Obbie has a system overload. Just ran some platinum games a little while ago. If it weren't obvious she is my favorite character, these last few games make it her the clear winner. I'm not scared of platinum with this build. Well except maybe Atlases. I hate Atlases.
Also.... why are you guys calling them fantums?

DC+cloak and hide is too good for them. Flamer is too good for them. Nothing you can do to them in this game in undeserved.

It makes it easier for us to fite them.

I've been using this build recently. I think this would be my favourite build for the AJA. Adas has stagger, does good barrier and shield damage, wrecks phantoms. Pull is self explanatory, anything caught by it, is sure to die. Reave stacking goodness not much else to say. You can get around the little delay with the Adas if you planned to use this build off host, by casting pull on say a marauder and forcing them to roll or stagger, it's to make the target stationary giving you time to hit the marauder with the Adas off host. Otherwise you'd have to track your target slightly ahead of them. Adas with phasic rounds III and assault rifle rail amp III takes like 1 bar of shields away from a geth prime on gold on each shot, which is not half bad, and the sooner you can get rid of shields the sooner you can make reave wreck on armor.

On a whim I threw the Crusader on the Destroyer. Adrenaline Mod III, Targeting VI III, Drill III, Geth Scanner. It's a little too op for gold; in the two matches I used it I got Trolls both times and it was wonderful. It's a ton of fun though and it is nice to use an OP kit on gold every now and then. Double hits, wall hacks, staggers from Hawk Missiles, RoF and Damage boost? Yes please. I need to give it a try in Plat if I could ever find a damn match.

Any good gun on an HML Destroyer is a little too op for gold. HML handles all the annoying things like Marauder rolls, Dragoon charges, even to a lesser extent, Phantroll flips and Banshees, the latter two also being trigger for multiple hits for all the deeps. Good to see some people out there have the sense to spec into it, it's overhated because of its pre-patch (and Cobra spec) state.

I like it because if forces Phantom bubbles and I'm usually running a gun that has lots of piercing so I can get the double hits on them and Banshees since if forces her hand of denial when she's walking. It's fun with a Drill III Typhoon or APIV PPR to just watch the armor disintegrate once her aura comes up.

Ditch the Cyclo, slap on Adrenaline III, go all banzai runs with the bubble. Fair point. I actually run the 100 or so cyclonic IIs I have or a power amp III/IV.

This absolutely gets my vote, although I personally run 66455 because I'm in love with the Cryo Acolyte Justicar, but otherwise the build and playstyle is the same. I agree 100% with your earlier post that any more than 4 ranks in Pull is a waste. Not knocking the Adas suggestion, as it makes a lot of sense, but the build would benefit from the tweaking you've suggested. A big plus to you both for choosing the correct option in rank 6 of Reave though. On the Destroyer, I was one of those who specced out of HML for a very long time, but Arkhne successfully showed me the error of my ways.

I didn't really explain it in detail, why I didn't go with fitness. It's really because I really don't die that often. The only exceptions I do die, is if i'm playing bad, or chaotic hack circle spots, such as centre london hack circle.
If anything I'd say most of my survivability is due to the nature of the Adas and the fact that it perma staggers red health and shielded/barrier red health enemies. Most of them die to Pull and reave anyways. And for bosses it's the usual kiting and abusing RHA.
The occasional cerberus turret would probably get me a few times, but it happens.
The adas is just really good on red health enemies, that's really it to be honest. Makes reapers a joke when you take out marauders, husks and cannibals out of the equations. And then all you have is bosses that are susceptible to reave esp with rank 6A.
I haven't been playing other factions, so I can't say too much. And only today was when I figured out how to play better with my AJA build.

Recently, Distigous, I'd taken to speccing-out of HML in favour of Frag Grenades (Multi-Frags with 6a are a scream ), but your post piqued my interest so I re-specced into HML, strapped on your suggested Crusader and went for a spot of PUGing. Got Reapers on White (Gold) and it was gratifying to see how much damage (particularly to armour) he dished. Would've been a great game if a score-whore (whose handle esapes me -- I was too busy turning the air blue ) hadn't nuked his way through extraction and screwed the spawns. By the by, HML gets a surprising number of kills given how low its stated damage output is, but it's, of course, the associated stagger/off-footing that's particularly helpful. The 25% rate-of-fire upgrade (through Devastator Mode) makes a big difference to the Crusader and the Adrenaline Mod III helps keep him escape sticky situations. Shooting and killing the occasional enemy through a wall never gets old. Cheers! for the idea.

They do a good amount of damage, but I really like how HML is a passive power and I don't need to interrupt my killing of shit with my weapon to use them. The AMIII was nice for avoiding the Scion shots (I imagine Ravager and maybe even Rocket Trooper rockets as well), but I'd probably just go Cyclonic III or IV for Plat and just tank everything. I'd probably switch to a Shotgun Amp III as well. I also like how GS overlay disappears when DM is activated. I always felt that DM should've had some sort of GS-like vision built in like a pseudo Hunter Mode.

You can let Phantoms or goons or Geth rush you and then just bomb your feet and kill them with ease. Also, the constant firing of the HML kinda sucks, because it makes enemies dodge, that you don't want to dodge and the sound of it firing may allow Hunters or Phantoms to sneak up on you. Plus with Grenade gear you can pack like 7 Multi-Frags and go absolutely ape-shit in CQC, firing all 7 in like 3 seconds.

I tried that build once but my frags were weak. I'm not even sure if the frags are that necessary for him. Imo it depends what you want to do with him. If you're using a ramp weapon like the PPR, Striker, or Typhoon (Saber is really good on him too) I think it's best to go HML so you don't have to interrupt the shooting to stagger things (as they come at you) or get certain enemies to bubble for multihits. Other weapons, like the aformentioned Saber, benefit from the staggering effects of HML for headshots. If you're just going to run him with something like a Claymore, Raider, or Harrier, for example, I'd say it's probably better to go with Frags as they do a ton of damage and have very good force to them and you'll probably be at mid to close range which is where Frags are best. I just prefer HML on him and if you go AAA you'll only lose 100 shields. I don't miss Frags even and though they are good they do have that damn animation that takes forever.

I haven't specced into Multi Frags in the longest time tbh. DM should've been a rear view mirror. That would've been awesome too, would've made that damn camera on him useful. I don't need picture in picture because that's all it is lol.

Good to see some people out there have the sense to spec into it, it's overhated because of its pre-patch (and Cobra spec) state. oh man I love HML, would never run Destroyer without it, my standard spec is 66644 though every now and then I'll burn a respec when the whim to play no-DM hipster melee Destroyer catches me (and pretty much always respec back to 66644 after one game of that nonsense)

I always figured that his frag grenades were more useful to get people off him than using the Missile Launcher. So putting points into Missile Launcher is more productive with him then? I tried that build once but my frags were weak. I'm not even sure if the frags are that necessary for him. grenades are certainly better, because grenades are always better in this game, but if you're not worried about min/maxing HML is still very useful and super entertaining, and there's not really any other compelling reason not to just take both and skip the last couple ranks of your passives since they're pretty insignificant
