Why has this poll been locked? Ah, well, I will cast my vote in detail here.
Favorites:
F/M: Quizzy and Solas, because I bromanced him as fellow mage nerd and the whole He-was-the-villian-the-whole-time thing is just icing on the drama cake.
F/F: For the Lesbos I have to go with Quizzy and Sera. Why? Because I liked I liked her so much I made a F!Qunari Quizzy to romance her.
M/M: I'm sensing a trend here, Quizzy with Dorian, once again with the bromance, this time between a fashion-conscious diva and a nerd.
M/F: This one is hard, because it's what I am IRL: straight guy. I'm gonna have to go with Cassandra, her and Morrigan both have similar coming-out-of0the-shell stories and though Morrigan herself develops wonderfully if romanced, I have to go with Cass because of personal preference. I like the tough gals, and romantics, Cass is both. Disclaimer: I wanted to romance Aveline in DA2 and I think Cass might be for us wannabe Aveline-mancers.

I still choose Inquisition's Cassandra over all the other M/F options though to be honest even if Aveline was a choice. i am a fan of tsundere done right  |

So very sad. I hope that the next Dragon Age game offers a buffet of dwarves to make up for the completely unnecessary lack of choice thus far. I missed the original poll period, but will chime in manually... For M/M, I vote for either humorous or aggressive Hawke with Fenris. For F/F, I vote for any diplomatic or benevolent Warden with Leliana. For F/M, I vote for any non-Andrastian Inquisitor with The Iron Bull. For M/F, I vote for either a dwarven or Qunari, Andrastian, humorous Inquisitor with Josephine. All of these are my own subjective opinions with clear biases influencing my votes. |

My favorites are female warden and Alistair, male warden and Zevran, either Hawke and Anders, and female Inky and Cullen. Everybody would go for Nathaniel if he was romanceable. Yeah Female warden and Alistair and female Inquisitor with Cullen both human and elf are my 2 favourites as I kind of liked the fact that Cullen lets you have dalish vows as an elf. Almost like he respects your beliefs even if the 2 of you do worship different gods |

FWIW popularity doesn't mean much, and this poll isn't representative of the fandom as a whole - according to Gaider, Leliana was the overall most popular LI in DAO, and I imagine a large chunk of those Wardens were men. Besides, M/F Leliana is more popular than others on this poll..... like M/F Hawke/Merrill and F/F Hawke/Merrill. Poor Merrill! |

I'm going to be honest here. I only chose male Inquisitor/Dorian because it was the only option for a person who only romances humans. Making use of mods, my favorite romance is male Inquisitor/Cullen. The fact that he's a romantic rather than snarky is +++ points. That's how you ought to be treating your lover. Historically, I haven't been that great at treating my men so romantically, and I'm not sure I ever got that in return, but Cullen's behavior is something to aspire to.

The fact that he's a romantic rather than snarky is +++ points. Dorian can be romantic when he wants to be -- "There's no you in Tevinter. What else matters?" In addition, a lot of it has to do with the options you choose as well. I tend to play "blue" characters, so I don't get that much snark from him in return. Sorry you didn't feel that with him, but he's not the snark-monster that people make him out to be. |
