For me, no one dies on the SR2, when seen on the unknown planet, if ems is high enough.(over 2600). If someone doesn't agree, that's fine.

What about them? All those who died when the SR1 went down made it to the memorial wall. Why assume that changed?

What about them? All those who died when the SR1 went down made it to the memorial wall. Why assume that changed? So, let's think about this. In ME2, the SR1 loses 20 of it's crew and Jacob states that "most survived." Mathematically, that means the SR1 (a smaller ship than the SR2) had a crew in excess of 40 people (if "most" is assumed to only mean "more than 50%").
Now, in ME2, we have several scenarios where the SR2 will receive differing amounts of damage. We have the "Shepard lives' ending where only the name of David Anderson is added to the wall. In any ending of any EMS between the low EMS endings and the Shepard lives ending, only 2 names are added to the wall, so you're assuming those are the only two that died and everyone survived the crash each time. Then, all of a sudden, with the low EMS ending, you're assuming that no one in all of those people aboard the SR2 could have possibly survived even when faced with a door that mysteriously opens after the crash.
As I said, I have no problem with you interpreting that everyone dies; but I feel it is also completely possible and logical to assume that some of the crew survived even the low EMS crash. I see no problem with being able to interpret an ending of an RPG game in more than one way, so I've never said your interpretation is wrong. Why insist that my interpretation is wrong? Even in the low EMS ending, the Normandy's fuselage remains largely intact. There is no sign of a fire. The thrusters are gone, but that just means that the ship could not have accelerated under power into the ground but rather just fell from the sky (pulled into that planet's gravity). The gravity on the planet it crashed on does not seem inordinately severe. It seems like a survivable crash to me regardless of the extra bit of damage Bioware renders onto the fuselage in the low EMS ending... particularly when one considers that people figure everyone survives the similar high EMS crash.

After the fact I realized you were referencing the SR2 crew. They were definitely not on the memorial wall.

I did a low- EMS game once, mainly because I had no idea what I was doing.
