Companions Lineup for Veilguard

I really don't care for Scout Harding, she's a farm girl who took weapons when the Inquisition started. She was fine as a scout, I'm not thrilled about the future Inquisition and comics story dump she's very possibly throwing my way. Also so much for new people Solas doesn't know.
Bellara is giving me serious Nenio from Pathfinder flashback, she oozes the Quirk.
The old necromancer gets a point for being elderly, (we're all getting decrepit waiting for DA) but his face is the most cartoonish to me. Bonus point for the squeleton manservant, I'm a goth at heart.
The detective gal, I like the detective angle, finger crossed she's not an afterschool special on disabilities. I don't understand what's on her head.
The warden. Bonus point for being Dalish and black and having a babie griffon.
Lucanis is hot, alas it seems he has stupid purple wings during fight for unknown reasons. When you take your being a Crow too literal.
The Qunari lady is a Qunari lady. Almost unicorn in DA.

I rarely dislike companions, so whatever. The biggest tragedy is the story quality, there's no reason to ditch the elite force that was the Inquisition to get that bunch instead. It is what it is.

Brian Bloom will still voicing Varric. Yesterday trailer doesn´t make it crystal clear but today 24 sec teaser does it. Brian Bloom is still Varric.

And you guys should consider yourselves Lucky other languages well aren´t not so 100% safe.  But i highly doubt that EA Germany dares to change Varric more awesome voice actor Tilo Schmitz (sorry i am bias). Varrics french actor i don´t know.

I've re-read the stories featuring him today and he seems a very laid back type of character, like nothing phases him, which is understandable in a way if you are a senior member of the Mourn Watch because he probably has seen some really weird stuff in his time. In fact I wonder if he is going to be a bit like Orsino before he went crazy on us because in Act 2 of DA2 he was really nonchalant when he was lobbing magic at the Qunari, which instantly made me like him. I also can't get it out of my head that he is likely going to be a comedy act with Manfred but with really dead pan humour.  Incidentally,  I don't think he is Wynne elderly, more likely just late 40s/early 50s so more middle aged.  

Did you notice he did that move from Rings of Power with launching the griffon into the air with his shield? Except with a griffon it makes sense, particularly as its only a baby (well 10 years old but how long do they live?)

There may be a cool reason for the wings or a sinister one. May be it isn't so much taking being a Crow too literally but his nickname of The Demon. Let's face it, it probably scares the shit out of the Venatori and he does the wings for the fun of it.   Or may be Emmerich had something to do with the wings, like a gift to him.
