Lace promoted just like whiner Cullen who was made into a counselor.... give me a break.
First Lace deserves this promotion and second yeah Cullen should have been a companion instead of Blackwall. But i guess Cullen still got enough to do in DAI so in the end its ok what it is.

Hmmm......I would have preferred having Aveline over Cullen. I would keep Blackwall so he can be an option to leave in the fade.

irst Lace deserves this promotion and second yeah Cullen should have been a companion instead of Blackwall. Never really saw the appeal of Cullen personally. Also being an advisor actually made less sense than just being a companion. He was advising on military matters when his only experience was running the Templar garrison in Kirkwall and not very successfully at that. His recruits had very little discipline and ended up being bewitched in a brothel as a result. He wasn't interested in the deaths of civilians in ways that suggested blood magic might be involved, as Emeric was. He thought the best way to confront a suspect recruit was to track them to the wilderness on his own and then beat them up. He was unaware that Alric was misusing the Rite of Tranquility and apparently had not noticed the number of tranquil appearing in the ranks of the mages, when by rights he should have been on of the principle people consulted before the ritual took place. He was unaware of the activities of his own Templars in developing a mutiny in their ranks against Meredith, yet apparently Orsino was. We could actually tell him about Anders and even have Anders with us when we do so, but he just says he will look into it, and clearly doesn't. He backed Meredith in her illegal annulment and was perfectly willing to allow the slaughter of mages they were vowed to protect, only stepping in to oppose her when she threatened the Champion of Kirkwall. About the only thing he did seem to do well was organise the Templars in the aftermath to Meredith's destruction but that was hardly a recommendation for giving military advice to the Inquisition, particularly as Cassandra was aware he would be struggling with lyrium addiction. Oh, and he had remained loyal to the Divine. Surely, there was another experienced military commander across the entirety of southern Thedas who would have been a better choice? What about some of those Arls and Banns who assisted the Hero of Ferelden in the 5th Blight? Or someone else from the Freemarches with experience out in the field in an actual warfare situation?

Damn it, still waiting on my Dagna romance...I guess Dagna lovers didn't whine enough to the devs. Problem was if Sera didn't hook up with the Inquisitor, she romanced Dagna. So, given the majority of world states would have that as the outcome, it sort of ruled out Dagna as a future romance option. By contrast, it was only possible to have a relationship with Harding alluded to in Trespasser if you weren't in a relationship with anyone else and it was only a passing comment with very little else involved, so not really making enough impact to affect many world states, particularly as many people may not even have played Trespasser and the number who did without having a romance established with someone else would be extremely small. Nor was it ever recorded in the Keep, so I imagine when they present the options for a previous romance in the CC of Veilguard, Harding will not be among them.
