I was initially reminded of Iron Bull's Tarot Card, but I doubt they're carrying flags(?) The things they're in the mosaic look like large/heavy spikes to me. Not sure what they could be used for, maybe it's a tool and what we're seeing is the process of how Elgar'nan's Eidolons are being made? If they were used as blood magic sacrifices, I can almost see why DA2 Qunari had a criss-cross and bloody look to them. Maybe a cultural memory that they made their own much like the Dalish and the Vallaslin? The body paint is called Vitaar...From the codex: It's called this because the markings are magical in nature and actually harden their skin to an iron-like quality without hindering flexibility, and my analysis says the paint consists largely of poison. It's mixed with something else—blood, perhaps their own?—and that neutralizes the poison, but only for one with Qunari physiology.

I liked Tallis a lot as a character even though my characters often disliked her because of the whole qun differences of opinion. If she does return I hope they don’t the horrid mota stuff where you end up helping her get her way regardless of whether you support her or not.

If we’re a protagonist involved with The Inquisition, Tallis and Gatt are probably going to extra hate my protagonist bc Inquisitor refuses to sacrifice the Chargers. This can be a fun time (also sorry my elf boyfriend killed your vidasala. No hard feelings right? )

This can be a fun time (also sorry my elf boyfriend killed your vidasala. No hard feelings right? ) My Adaar saved Berethlok, so at least he’s probably on good terms with Gatt. But I’m betting Tallis would not appreciate hearing of another saarebas who’s horns-deep in Fen’Harel Veil-tearing shenanigans. ...and let’s carefully avoid mentioning how many times he’s bargained with demons. Or the magister he’s sexting.
