Apparently that so-called great move ended up with Shepard being able to destroy the reapers. Reapers also blew up Shepard's ship spacing him with an air leak so he would die of asphyxiation while his body floats towards a planet, before reentering the planet's atmosphere and impacting the ground at terminal velocity. It was the collectors that destroyed the SR1. What does your post have to do with the reapers moving the Citadel to Earth for you to call it a great move?

It was the collectors that destroyed the SR1. What does your post have to do with the reapers moving the Citadel to Earth for you to call it a great move? Collectors were created and directly controlled by the Reapers. Retaining no residue of their previous culture the Protheans and developing no new culture as Collectors. They are pretty much nothing more then cloned drones to carry out the Reaper's orders. Making the distinction between what the Collectors do and what the Reapers do absolutely nothing. Secondly Shepard was literally killed in a way that the only way the Reapers could make him any more dead is if they ate and then shit him out.
Yet Shepard still returned and at every turn defied the very laws of reality in the ME universe multiple times. So when you point out that god or what ever higher power you might worship is capable of circumventing the Reaper's plan I simply say so what? In any other case when we are not dealing with an actual deity capable of defying the very laws of nature, space and time the move is extremely tactically sound.
