Something isn't working, and just for a change it doesn't seem to be Origin. Isn't that a surprise?? To what problem are you referring? ME servers were down earlier in the day, which qualifies in the Origin suckage.
And I won't go through the full litany of issues I had making an alt-PC account (3 accounts, attempted, many hours of customer "service" ... with more than one of them ending with "sorry, we don't provide technical support on this title anymore"). But they'll gladly sell it to you. And it is still a half-broken account (N7HQ doesn't link, friends can't join my invites, I get dumped from lobby every time host leaves...)

The problem I'm referring to is every time I try to run ME3, it gives me a 'EA servers are down' message after starting the game pressing a key. That's not an Origin problem. I've managed to log into BF4, BF1 and Crysis (although I never play them) if Origin was down it wouldn't let me.

I had the same message yesterday - for several hours. I had to go and check the list just to make sure that ME3 isn't on the chopping block. My bet is that Anthem and Andromeduhhh will end up getting the chop well before ME3.
I suppose that this means that ALL of the EA Servers for ME3 were down, because I am on PC.

Are you checking here ? Yes - I checked on the EA website to be sure. I still play Mass Effect one and two, but they are single player games. I usually play ME3 MP on a daily basis because it is so fun. I like to PUG it up because every match is different and unpredictable. Sometimes you run with good players, sometimes with bad players. Sometimes you get combinations. Sometimes you have to carry wave 10 because everyone else is taking a dirt nap. I hate to say it, but I've gotten more [Lone Survivor]s in the last week than I've gotten in the last year or two. I've also killed a few people in the Reactor, come to think of it. Dreadful accident, that one. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of the Citadel. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Conduit. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. I don't want this game to die.

So i saw ME3 pop up on steam, and just for a brief moment there i had a glimmer of hope we might be able to finally part our ways with this shitware. Alas, that did not last. Tsk. But good news anyways store.steampowered.com/app/1238020/Mass_Effect_3/add it to collection, and possibly look at linking the accounts. edit: no steam achievements either... sigh |

Oh well. and this is where we disagree. wholeheartedly. fundamentally. irreconcilably even. if anything we can see it actually devolving over time imo. me3 is the sole reason i'm still tolerating its presence on my machines. but, hey i'm glad to hear it's working out for you.
