Assassins Creed Odyssey

Load up the game, find my latest save and find Alexios in Atlantis standing over a body. Walk down the hallway and find even more dead people. Somebody had fun back in 2019 that's for sure.

So decide to go exploring. Enter one of those illegal temples and manage to alert a guard and take him down. Then try to be clever and sneak kill some more guards.
Whistle in the bushes and lure in three.
At the same time.
Stealth kill one, then get brutally murdered by the next as I realize I don't remember the dodge button.
So load the save again and decide to not go there.

Go and find some doctor dude who wants me to break in somewhere and steal something. Except I'd already done it last time I played, so I could just turn in the quest right away. Yay for break ins and kleptomania I guess. 

So the item is a cloth and we're going to heal some sick people. So the doctor puts the cloth over somebody and turns it on and we cure them.
CURE THEM FROM THE SICKNESS OF LIFE!
Since the person explodes under the cloth. Very gory. Let's do it again!

Alas, no more explosions and the cloth has been calibrated for healing. Which is grand but supposedly should piss off Poseidon.
Well, sucks to be him. 

Onto the next task. Which is helping a fellow who greets us by slitting the throat of the last person he talked to and dumping them in the river. 
Which is how the plague starts asshat...
But alas, he has some sob story and we move to other matters.

Which is crushing down a rebellion. By either killing the lot or burning their supplies. 

Since I'm a weak little baby I chose arson and spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out how to switch arrows. Got murdered in that bit as well so yay. Also remembered why I quit playing but that's another reason.

So commit some friendly arson in the neighborhood and report to the throat slitter who gives us lip, which we return ten fold. Or well just whine a bit and move to the next task.

Which is finding out that Atlas has gathered all the blokes we helped and is planning to execute them. Since he wants Atlantis to turn into Atlasantis and not Alexiosantis. Cool.

Manage to convince him not to kill his brothers. Not sure why, I wasn't particularly fond of them, but I'm fond of being a nuisance and this was a great display of that. 

Next task is tracking down some metals for some lady. Think I was supposed to be stealthy, but, like, murder. Look they saw me killing one of the guards, got a bit huffy, we had a tussle and now the mines are red. Okay. Could've happened to anybody!

So give her the metal so she can craft a weapon of mass destruction or what ever she's planning with it.
Alexios got some temples to raid so he can't worry about it at the moment. 

So end up having to raid the temples I died in at the start of the session. Long story short I flicked the game to easy mode and joined the pro-god mode movement. 

After that little side trip we went back to the lady who wanted us to distract Atlas while she did something in his room. Wanted to say no leave me out of this, but alas "Thou must". 
So the moment I could tell on her I did and she got wrecked for her sins. 

Then I got kicked out of Atlas crib because "I made him kill his girlfriend". Nah bro, that was all you. But decided to skeddaddle anyways. 

Next up monologue time!
It was funny and set up the next mission of finding some kids parents.
Which I was like 100% positive would turn out to be my doing so had a little moral moment.

But alas, it was someone else. Had to look for them on the harbor (funny) and the quarry (not funny). So the quest person on the harbor got spared and the quarry got killed. 
This aint no serious business.

Then get the task to kill some bloke for some reason. He did something. 
Slide into his quarters and fight him to the death. Since mercy is not an option. Like literally, the game made me do it.
Either way, murder is done, time to raid a secret lab.

The lab was pretty cool. Didn't understand it but it had specimens in tanks and suprised looks from Alexios so I was entertained. 
Then met the curator and got to throw a temper tantrum at a stinking door. So took the option to say "Screw your door", because screw that door. 
And morals and stuff too I guess. Mainly Outrage!

Continued my temper tantrum to Poseidon and got booted off to fight the final boss of the chapter.
Thank Zeus for easy mode since I got horrid flashbacks to the Minotaur fight. 

Well with that done I demand the owner of the stinky door gets hanged and Poseidon hears it as nuke the city. Like...Which I was kinda wanting to do but I actually wasn't serious and what the heck is wrong with you people?

Either way, horrible city is gone, Poseidon is dead, we accomplished nothing and that's it for Alexios path. Get a little dialog in the end and then it's Layla time. Whooo!

And just what. So Vic is lying there like a sack of rocks as we banter with Mr Berg. Then there is a fighting scene which is just spamming the attack button because I still don't know how to dodge proper.

Then we don't kill him, but paralyze him from the waist down. Which will probably kill him because he's just lying there, bleeding, in the dirty water. But well better let 'em die slow I guess.

Finally we adress Vic who has moved to a sitting position by the stairs. Which I will note neither Layla or Berg moved her into. So I hope she's alive, got a small pistol and takes her spot as the next games protag. Because Layla's gone of the rails! She's evil! And stupid, since she just goes "Eh, Imma go back into the Animus, laters!" and goes back to the Animus, leaving the super soldier and magic staff all alone and unattended.

Cool story brah.
