So did the weekly quests, pretty easy kill 2 Athenian Leaders, Kill 20 Athenian Soldiers and destroy 10 Athenian War supplies couple of leaders houses and it was all over pretty quickly.
Oikos has the Spartan horse which I bought and got lucky in the lucky dip and got the Sacred Headpiece.

Managed to make headway in the story yesterday - finishing off the final quest before meeting Perikles. Arriving at his party - oh, I'm sorry, symposium - I got Euripedes drunk and made Aristophanes vomit what appeared to be blood (could've been wine, I guess). Kassandra amused herself with Alkibiades for a time, then spoke with Sokrates, before...she...walked in. *sigh* If only...

I'm working on getting the remaining cultists (need to unveil 6, kill 8) and the remaining mythical creatures for Real Dad (just need Medusa). I noticed that I had Kassandra wearing all of Alexios' armor, except for his helmet. And I didn't have the helmet. Concerned that I had somehow missed picking it up somewhere, I googled the armor set. And, well...I guess I know who the leader of the cult is now. Oops.

Let me guess, her head snakes are just like the snakes you run across in tombs, except they don't go down as easily with a bit of fire, and they can one hit kill you.

Archery is your friend and have a pillar between you and her. So pretty much like the Cyclops and Minotaur, except she won't be smashing the pillars? No, she won't be smashing the pillars. Her main attacks are a magical ground attack and a beam of energy that will slow and hurt you because it's turning you to stone. She also tends to teleport around a lot. For melee, she will occasionally wake up statues of people she turned to stone to fight you.

Archery is your friend and have a pillar between you and her. So pretty much like the Cyclops and Minotaur, except she won't be smashing the pillars? Basically your assassin skills such as Rush Assassination will be useless and as Hanako said if you are good with a bow then that is a help especially devastating shot etc. but I found Heroic Strike and Fury of the Bloodline worked well for me. If you are using poison I don't think it helps but fire might. If you don't mind being spoiled watch a video of the fight, otherwise: she has tough helpers and as you'd expect she has a gaze beam that petrifies you. The challange is dealing with her henchment while not getting turned to stone and there are pillars for that but the helpers will knock you away from them. The absolute key is that after she uses her petrify gaze on you she is defenseless for 4 05 seconds so that's when you can swoop in and melee her with Heroic Strike or Fury of The Bloodline and do some decent damage before running back to cover.

Very different fight, she teleports is one issue and her main ability is nasty and petrifies you, if she catches you in close with melee she does a lot of damage.

She is? I never had any issues with her. I find it the most difficult fight in the game as I am not good at those long drawn out fights, I have never lost the fight but I do find it hard and so kudos to you if you don't. I find the drawn-out ones very difficult as well. I got cocky with the cyclops and desynchronized when I was almost done with him, so I was pretty annoyed to have to do it all over again. I lowered the difficulty thinking that would make it a lot faster, but it was still just arrow-arrow-arrow-dodge over and over and over again for longer than I would have liked. I'll need to remember to add some fire damage to my bow.

I didn't have too much trouble with the Cyclops and Minotaur on normal as they telegraph their attacks and I have engraving for damage from behind. So I'd just doge get behind them and hit them with heroic Strike which I also have enhanced with an engraving and its an assassin ability which I have enhanced through gear etc. But yeah you can't relax with them and I almost got killed being lazy against the Minotaur last time. There is a build you can do with 100% melee resistance, +100% armour and 100% chance to ignore half damage that makes those fight really easy which was fun, Medusa though I am not sure whether her gaze counts as elemental damage and that you can therefore reduce the damage. Just have to keep hiding and moving. Just check online re Fire for Medusa I am not 100% positive (just checked) and apparently it does here's a video if you want to watch it. They must have fire really enhanced and are using Rage of Ares and Destructive Shot I think it's called.

I tried to follow those tips, but I'm obviously still doing something wrong. I'm not doing anywhere near that much damage to her compared to the person in the video (even with headshots), while she keeps catching me with attacks while I have no adrenaline to heal myself with. Even after respeccing a bit, re-engraving my armor, getting a new bow with both hunter and fire damage on it, and switching the difficulty to easy, I've lost count of how many times I've tried this fight. I think I'm going to start Legacy of the First Blade, get the rest of the cultists, and then turn level scaling to easy once I'm 4 levels above whatever her max level is. I don't have enough pride to care if that makes the fight too easy. I just want it over with

I don't have enough pride to care if that makes the fight too easy. I just want it over with On EASY you should just be able to take her down with Melee, that's what I did first PT. I think it's easy to over think it and I just find the bow takes too much time. If you stack Heroic Strike with an engraving and have your Assassin abilities enhanced you should be able to just hide behind a pillar, take down the stone soldiers, wait for her to be in her vulnerable state then rinse and repeat. The key is to be patient and get yourself behind a pillar but you'll have to move away from her at some times when she teleports. Maybe Hrungr saandrig can give you some tips, as I said I found this to be the hardest fight in the game and left it till the absolute last thing I had to do pretty much so I was well levelled up and had put a specific build in place.

It's been probably a year and a half since I did that fight... I think it was a combo of having high crit hunter gear, Slow Time, then Predator Shots to the head. Maybe Battlecry of Ares popped just before Slow Time for good measure.

I turned Kassandra's horse into a unicorn, and he looks ridiculous. I have no regrets. There is also a winged unicorn (Melaina mount?) that I think was free to get. If you don't have the skin, check ingame, I think in the Store tab, probably Store-Gear-Mounts. You might have to claim it and activate it in order for it to show in your inventory - same goes for a bunch of gear you collected from Oikos if you want for it to show for the toons in future PTs. Winged mounts are great since they don't die after jumping down from cliffs and also seem to have a bit better normal jump than regular mounts.
Medusa is a tough fight. You need to hide a lot behind obstacles and patiently take potshots with your bow, so you build adrenaline as well. She is very dangerous at close range, so I don't recommend going close. Her beam attack ignores resistances, so it's important to avoid it at all costs. You need to move a lot between hiding spots to avoid her teleporting pattern. Hunter gear with adrenaline bonuses is your best bet. The Slow time ability certainly would help for the occasions you want to land a big shot. The "Heal % per hit" ability shines here, as well as good Crit and Crit damage ratings.

I've mostly been forgetting to take screenshots, but I'm on episode 2 of Legacy of the First Blade. I like it so far. The guy who I assume will end up being Kassandra's husband (Natakas) is maybe a little bit shy and sweet for her, but I don't mind too much. However, I understand how someone playing her as a lesbian wouldn't be too pleased about the relationship being so forced. Also, you know you've been playing too much Assassin's Creed Odyssey when you see this little tree in your neighbor's yard and feel a strong urge to run over and pluck it out of the ground. I turned Kassandra's horse into a unicorn, and he looks ridiculous. I have no regrets. There is also a winged unicorn (Melaina mount?) that I think was free to get.
