... Low: Missed four consecutive shots on the last Nemesis of a wave ... Man, you know those are perfect for light-melee kills... True, that chain of staggers is awesome. But it's better when you get a few teammates to trap 'em in a circle of elbow-based death.

High: Still no hard freezes on PS3 since I came out of retirement. Only Goddess has caused severe frame loss on a single occasion. My poor Acolyte Justicar was pronounced dead by Banshee sync-kill on extraction without even a hint of the animation. She died for Thessia though, and had actually made a teammate come on mic to say "Wow, Grunt" a few waves in, so that's some consolation. Higher: I don't normally get much of a thrill from topping the scoreboard, and am even less likely to when using one of the OP kits, but I make an exception when it's the Vorcha Sentinel with Venom, even though my Venom on this account is only at level III. He really is a psychotic wee fecker. Low: Geth. That is all.

High: As a follow-up to the "Wow, Grunt" comment about my Justicar above, I've just got out of a sub 18 min no-missile Glacier Reaper pug game where the Drell Adept host with Venom doubled my score. Wow, indeed. I can't remember the last time I didn't get 50 Biotic kills with my Justicar. Low: He cost us 10 WS due to his eagerness to rush the spawn on W8.

On his behalf good game my old friend, I enjoyed watching it Thanks for sharing that - you've really made me smile. Skill-wise, it's fair to say the apple didn't fall far from the tree! He grew up watching my addiction to this game. He's 14 years old now, allowed him to play the MP portion only, about a year ago. He's pretty addicted to it himself. The fact that this game still appeals to younger generations, after almost 7 years of release, is quite astonishing in my opinion. For him a bsner is legendary even though I wasn't a very active one on the forum. every time he thinks someone is a bsner, he'd ask me to check their names on the players met list to tell him if he met one. In this case, I just happened to walk in on him, I was like "Grunt is a bsner and a friend, I'd like to join" and later told him to go and heavy melee you. He reluctantly did it cuz he thought it was a sign of aggression or anger, but I think u were busy hiding your missile. he was super happy about the fact he met a bsner which is a rare thing now adays . And, Yea, I looled when he went down on wave 8, cuz he kept saying " this is going to be a 10 wave survived"

High: Happy to still pug into Gold matches with players that have relatively fresh manifests. Good to see people returning to the game after all this time. I do my best to just keep them alive, let them get in their shots, etc. although I still end up having to kill quite a bit. It's fun to see the players get back into form. 10 revives in a London/Collectors match but I did have help from a Krolord who only got synced once.
High: Also bumped into a player who returned some melees. They were playing a Fury pretty dang well on Dagger/Cerberus, lots of good teleports. I've played with them before, but now I'm thinking they're an alt – N7llRenegadell or some such.
Low: Wish I had more time to play.

Low Point: The sad truth of the matter is that more people ME3 MP than play Anthem and Andromeduhhh combined. I guess that the High Point in all of this is that matches still fill right up. Sometimes I need to scratch that itch, whether I am burning fools to ash as a Vorcha Pryromaniac, or unsuspected and undetected as Infiltrators tend to be. Sometimes you have ot get in there as a proper Krogan and charge and headbutt and pimpsmack some fools into line. I was killing mooks with Barrier yesterday and got a few strange reactions from other players.

I had the good fortune to run into firerider for a couple of games last night, for the first time in years. He has always been one of my favourite teammates because we've always instinctively known that we will have each other's backs on objective waves. So it was on Ghost against Reapers, with his Demolisher and my Valkyrie shadowing each other for pizzas and devices, before hanging out in the back room on extraction until 40 secs or so to go when we both climbed down the ladder and ran the long way round to the EZ, giving ourselves enough time to missile and revive one of the other guys. Then the host left but we both stayed for the migration which put me in charge. Fire had switched to a Drell Adept with Carnifex and I needed 8 waves with my Asari Adept to complete Commando Mastery for the umpteenth time. Off we went as a duo, and got Reapers on Condor. Cool, I thought, as I knew I needed 9 waves on Condor for that part of Map Mastery. I had no worries that with the combined experience we both have the match should have been a cakewalk. I even had a Cyclonic IV equipped, not because I felt I needed one, but because I have so many of them and I didn't want to insult my playing partner with a Power Efficiency mod. But I'd forgotten what Condor can be like sometimes, even as host. We got a central hack on wave 3 and no sooner had I activated it than a Banshee teleported right on top of me. Despite my best efforts at dodging out of the way she got me, leaving Fire on his own with the clock ticking a little more slowly than either of us would have liked. I was in the process of sending him a "lol, oops!" message when a third player joined - a Human Vanguard. He never once tried to leave the LZ, despite the repeated warnings about the clock running down. Meanwhile Fire was getting swamped and repeatedly had to try to kite enemies away. The funniest thing I witnessed was the other guy missiling a Banshee down in the LZ, which didn't really help the situation much. But anyway, Fire got the job done with 30 seconds or so to spare, and the rest of the match was simple enough, apart from the two times when Ravagers killed me with no-warning single hits. The joy of Condor, I guess. I was down to one gel by the end, which just goes to show that experience sometimes doesn't count for much. I chuckled at the end when he sent me a "Scrub" response. This game. I've said it before and I'll say it again - it's like the Hotel California crossed with the Corleone Family. You can check out from time to time but never really leave. Even at its worst, it's better than everything else out there.

Can a host kick off a player mid game? As in, he does it himself. It's not a consensus.

Low: First hard freeze on PS3 since coming out of retirement.
Lower: I probably could have prevented it, having arrived during the cleanup on W10 Giant Hazard v Collectors, following which the host quit. I quit too, but then immediately ran into whoever the host migration left in charge, and then three of us headed off into a new game which also had 2 players come and go. We were on the extraction wave on Dagger when it all went pop. Such is life on lolPS3. I should have followed the golden rule of rebooting after Collectors.
Lowest: It has always struck me as very poor that the game is capable of deducting valuable consumable usage in crashed games without banking credits or a sizeable portion of earned challenge points.
High: The host was a discerning Turian who returned my AIU's between wave melees. He/She has a private profile so I couldn't send a message to explain (mintyone something). I rarely play the AIU, but have to admit that up until the freeze I had been having an absolute blast. Why anyone plays her with the Reegar when she has the Claymore, Crusader, Wraith and (as in my case) the off-host Raider at her disposal is beyond my comprehension.

No Gold lobbies so I searched for a plat, Surprisingly had an easy 21 min match, Took Armoured Compartments but only needed 1 missile, Scored last with my Lancer II but still made 125k,

I ran into a Mintyone (or something like that) on PC this weekend. Solid player, very competant. Actually, I've run into a lot of the old guard lately. The names aren't popping into my head right now, but I did take a few screenshots. I'll post some names tonight and see if they ring any bells.

High: Had a 15 minute gold match last night that didn't feel that fast, and that was with 3x devices. The Disciple is really underrated (for gold at least) and is great on Biotics, with Warp ammo, or the Fat TSol. I put it on the Justicar for shits and giggles and ended up topping the scoreboard with it. It pairs great with Reave so there's a lot of staggers going on which is nice, but if it didn't have that stagger it would suck Low: The shitty attempt I made at N7.I, where I died to that last Centurians on w4. Lower: The shittier attempts I made at plat solos. Lowest: All the nuking on extraction is driving me nuts. Followed by the hosts immediate quit if they don't take the top spot on the score board.

Dammit, you're almost managing to lure me back to PS3 for some games. I even recently cleaned out the PS3s' spots, reconnected them to various TVs and LAN cables as I was re-doing all the cables in the area anyway. It's just sad that I can't run my mods there, would totally love to have run them with the old PS3-squad.

I remember much hilarity when I was clutching a wave while the host pondered why the Asari would need a hairdryer, joking that perhaps they were using it for another purpose - something I wouldn't repeat on a family-friendly site. It'll never be top tier but the stagger effect makes it perfectly decent on Gold. I'm out of Shotgun amps (surprise!) but my QFE was using it with the headshot booster last night - the combination with Cryo Blast resulted in some very satisfactory Nemesis decapitations. It's also serviceable on the Shadow, although it's no Piranha in that regard.

I recently decided to rejoin PS3, just because I'm kind of bored with my other games and from pugging I seem to be bumping to the old guard of players too, maybe it's the heat forcing people to stay in and play instead I also ran into Mintyone and yeah they seemed alright, I wonder if they have maxed their manifest or not. I'm a sucker for helping people do that.

Excuses, excuses! Funnily enough I thought of you the last time I committed suicide-by-possessed abomb melee. Insert your own Shia LaBeouf meme in your imagination at this point.
