Tentacle Fever - blue waifu thread

I don't know, I feel like Garrus and Tali both have a certain snarkier side to each other that I think compliments them well. I think if I was going to put Liara with any of the other Normandy crew, it would be Samantha, or maybe even Wrex.

Well, the problem with that is that in my game Kaidan is nothing but atoms floating around in Vermire, so...

Plus, the two got pretty snarky/flirty even as early as ME2, so...I dunno, it just worked for me. It took a while for them to click between Tali's hero worship/crush on Shepard and Garrus being just generally awful around women at first, but it happened.

Seconded for Liara and Traynor! I actually hadn't thought about that pairing before, but now I do.. adorbs. Even just Traynor working as one of Liara's close agents, she'd be right into that kind of work. Specialist couple.

Totally unrelated, but I always wished Liara could use shotguns. Imagine how much more badass would she be if she could run around with High Lord(aka, M-300 Claymore).

Why do you think it's easier to not romance her as a male Shepard?

I'd be up for it - but with all of the Liara hate, sexy blue space babes accusations and whatnot, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if she turns out to be not an LI.



I don't remember any hostility between Tali & Garrus in ME1. Could you refresh my memory?

I think it worked for them to get together in ME3 - the dextro couple, Fleet & Flotilla, etc.  With the galaxy facing annihilation, people sometimes reach out to the familiar for comfort, and these 2 have known each other and worked together for quite awhile.  Both of them had been placed in positions of enormous responsibility that they weren't entirely comfortable with - Tali as an Admiral, Garrus an advisor.  I don't really see them together permanently, but it works for me as a short-term fling.

As an aside, I had shipped Tali with Kal'Reegar, and was really bummed to find out he'd been killed.  I could see them raising a family as they rebuild and populate Rannoch...

... not that it does much good to think about what became of the characters post-apocalypse.  Seeing all of these home planets be decimated by reapers throughout ME3 wasn't grim-dark enough, they also had to kill off some characters we liked and leave the relays damaged, so everything was left in limbo.  Bleah.

Even if they are definitely doing an asari LI, it might not be PeeBee - though it may be likely that it is.

I've already seen her called PeePee and PeeWee. Gad.

I would say most asari (with a personal exception to Samara) look gorgeous already. Our little waifu is no exception.

Okay, so someone posted this pitch-perfect impersonation of Liara saying something that's...well, both very un-like her, yet so much like her.

By an absolute mile my favourite Waifu out of everything, certainly consider her what a perfect lover would be. I have an absolute blast playing through the games with her as the romance, playing MaleShep. Her dedication to the relationship and overall personality is sweet, caring and beautiful, not to mention how she looks. Glad I found some place with folks who share my enthusiasm!
