Kind of curious to what other player workhorse weapons are. Those weapons that you use over and over and just can't put down for one reason or another. I'll start off with mine. - Wraith - This is my workhorse. Many of my classes use it to great effect. One of those weapons that started out shit and rose to be one of the best weapons in the game.
- PPR - Best assault rile IMO with that 4x multiplier is evil. The ramp up is easy to learn. (Not a big fan of of the carrier )
- Lancer - Best assault rife for power classes. Light, good damage and rof plus unlimited ammo.
- Black Widow - Best sniper in the game hands down. HVB + Phasics + Weight Glitch = kill all the mooks in 1 hit.
- Talon - one of the best shotguns in the game. HB with the PM makes it very evil. Plus that native Sheild/Barrier damage is the cherry on top. The disciple wishes it was this good.

None really, since I'm addicted to completing challenges I use different guns all the time.
The exception is platinum soloing where I might have used the Venom a couple of times.....

I can't believe it's not butter.
Like Bateman here, I use all weapons, but I do like to role-play, so Geth weapons have priority over other stuff on Geth characters for example. N7 on N7.

SMGs: I always have an excess of SMG amps, so the Hurricane gets a fair amount of use on power classes. Yeah, it's boring and OP but it helps scrubs like me survive Gold Pistols: I take the Acolyte as a sidearm on just about every character unless I'm using a pistol as a main weapon. Very useful for Banshee/Praetorian shields, and Phantoms of course. (Unfortunately, half the time I forget I have it...) Arc Pistol is my most-used main weapon pistol. Shotguns: Wraith is my standard Gold shotgun. I prefer the Crusader and Claymore, but only on specific characters. ARs: Saber is always good, Lancer too. The Lancer is good on both casters and weapon-focused characters. I have a bit of trouble with the recoil but it's nothing that can't be fixed with a stabilization consumable (or turian!) SRs: none of these is really a bread-and-butter weapon because I only really use SRs on one character (points at avatar). Valiant is my favourite. I have the Black Widow at a higher level, but I prefer the feel of the Valiant by far.

(Cannot carry Gold alone but can contribute reasonably well) Time - British On - evenings/weekends. I'll set my status to "not available" if I'm online but doing something else Mic - not generally, but available Speciality - shooting bosh'tet toasters with a sniper rifleReported for mostly misleading information

After approximately 2 hours of calculating and performing simulations, I have come to the conclusion that either the Javelin or Black Widow are my bestest of guns. I have no idea which one I use more tho. The Javelin is all like, " voosh" but the Black Widow can fire 3 shots. 3. That's 2 more than 1. Hmm.
I'll leave it to a coin flip. Tails, Javelin wins. Heads, Black Widow wins. Aaaaaaand Google coin flip says... Javelin wins

I'm partial to the CSMG on casters, but on everything else I try to mix it up a bit.

I find that with extended mag and short bursts that it does quite a bit of damage and frees up the need for ammo boxes Yes, but so does the Lancer Volus pls. The delay before the lancer starts recharging makes it a gun that has no place anywhere, completely outshined by the csmg on one side, and the harrier on the other. The only reason to use that gun is nostalgia.

Lancer, best AR other than Harrier and PPR which I consider OP. Claymoar, because Claymoar Acolyte+Collector SMG, best combo for power kits

Yes, but so does the Lancer Volus pls. The delay before the lancer starts recharging makes it a gun that has no place anywhere, completely outshined by the csmg on one side, and the harrier on the other. The only reason to use that gun is nostalgia. The Lancer can sustain it's fire for 10 seconds, while CSMG barely gives you 5. And while Lancer is no Carrier it's very much usable. VS a single target - the CSMG will probably take it down faster with it's easier headshots and faster ROF. But when you have to take down a couple of Pyros and a couple of Hunters one after the other - the Lancer will win.

Geth Plasma Shotgun, I love it. It's really powerful and it's range and ammo clip is very nice as well.
The second one is the Reegar Carbine, I love this one as well but here the ammo capacity is a let a down and also the range, it's only good as a close up second backup weapon.
