The Lancer can sustain it's fire for 10 seconds, while CSMG barely gives you 5. And while Lancer is no Carrier it's very much usable.

VS a single target - the CSMG will probably take it down faster with it's easier headshots and faster ROF. But when you have to take down a couple of Pyros and a couple of Hunters one after the other - the Lancer will win.

Like most things in this game it's highly situational. For Platinum I always prefer the CSMG on squishy casters as it's very accurate and you can use a power mod, the Lancer is far more powerful but very inaccurate so it's best in the hands of kits like Turians or more tanky kits that can take a hit or two close range. It matters less on Gold since the enemies deal far less damage there.

On Platinum I consider the Lancer to be better than the Harrier in many cases, since you don't need to run to the ammo box 24/7, on Gold the Harrier always win since you can clean out a wave in one clip and pat yourself on the back for a job well done.

Now that I'm pugging Platinum with strangers and have unlimited consumables, I finally have an excuse to to slap the Harrier X on something like the TSent (mostly) or GE (to break monotony) with some Drill Ammo. This pretty much serves me well in any Platinum pug match and is my workhorse. While at the same time isn't something too OP for out of solo environment.

Jave GI is solo material, however, but I need to practice it somewhere.

CSMG and Lancer are the reasons why I have to keep replenishing SMG & AR amps.
Hunter Mode or Devastator Mode with the Indra is my favorite SR set up.
Raider is my favorite 'normal' SG.

And since broken BS from Hunters and Phantoms demand it, I enjoy the AcLOLyte, Falcon, and GPS...as well as deez nutz.

Pistol= Scorpion.

Sniper Rifle = Widow.

Shotgun = Claymore (would pick the Wraith, but if I can get 2 Claymore shots in the same time as 2 from the Wraith, its a no brainer. Luckily for me, as I have no brains worth talking about

Assault Rifle = Welp, I find myself using Avenger, Phaeston and Geth Pulse Rifle more than anything else.

Don't have enough URs unlocked on my PC manifest yet. Also too many Reegar and Harrier users on PC, so I tend to avoid the harrier on most kits (save my DA).
