Frazier @tibermoon @richwhitesw @masseffect It will actually be a 27-minute video of @gamblemike doing pull-ups, non-stop, without breaking a sweat. Ian S. I don't really care for companion apps to games, but if they had a lore app that would be nice. I wouldn't want any app to actually have an impact on the game though.

I can see an app that not only includes the standard codex entries but, depending on progress, includes new entries which are discovered from completed quests.
It could also, continuing along the lines of the "organic" comment about relationships, have a text "game" where you can chat with potential(LI)s, either becoming better friends with them or more. Not that this is a new idea since someone else already suggested "texting" as a replacement for the in-game e-mails. Just think adding a new means of communication with LI would make for an interesting addition to gameplay and allow for it to be "off-line".
