He was pretending to be an elf.
Or had hormonal issues.
Anyway, Solas and Fenris also had some fine, fine hairs on their faces if I'm not mistaken.
I'm not really seeing it but there's also the possibility that I'm half blind. I think you're right on your first point, Sarel must've bought those cheep plastic ears from Dragon Age's version of party city.
They are really small. I think you can only see them on the texture of the skin using the fly mod.

So our sudden new ideal protagonist for DA4 is an elf with the shocking ability to grow body hair in resemblance to DAO hair. Gotcha. Well done, forums. Well done. In all realness though I'm a fan of chest hair and really wished my Inquisitor had some when he was nakeds

I think that any Elven PC in the next game will have an interesting time of it. Ben-Hassrath spy. Tevinter Slave. Agent of Fen'Harel. What do they have in common? They are all elves. Potential origins for our Elven PC maybe?

HAH. Also that's something to add into DA4. Body hair. Our Inquisitors are going completely Brazilian, EVEN OUR DWARVES (IIRC...). The heeeck dude. Well, not always. Doesn’t the Inquisitor shave something into their pubic hair for Sera’s romance? Yep. And that’s how we discovered that all the humanoid species of Thedas canonically have pubic hair.

Can we get a muscle slider for our giant qunari babes Asking for a friend Man I used the body type mod for all three races: qunari woman, dwarf woman, elven man. Gave my dwarf woman an insane athletic build, muscular shoulders, etc. Added curves as well as muscles for my qunari woman. and even for my elven man, I chose the "slender" body, but it is MORE defined than the pitiful default elven male with tiny shoulders and bizarre pot belly. Like I wanna be hot, it's a video game BioWare. Stop it with the puny shoulders.

If we can't get full body sliders why not give us different body types based on our class? Like maybe Warriors are thicker and more muscular. Rogues have a body type that is fit for speed and agility. Mages have an average body because you don't get much exercise beyond swinging a staff. Your body fits what your character trains for.

Hmm seems fair. Maybe there are four race selections but only 2-3 origin selections. Or maybe all have the same origin (everyone's a gladiator, or former slave, or whatever).

It's a littly silly to me that human rogues and mages are as buff as the warriors. Especially since the mage spent their life locked in the circle tower.

If they aren't doing the Inquisitor as a returning protagonist because of tradition, I don't see why everyone thinks they'll break the other tradition of the protagonist always being an outsider.
Orlesian agent or BTFO. I demand the right to have a PC with an outraaaaaaaaaageous Orlesian accent.
Rioran or Stroud style accent is fine as well though

I want to play a protagonist like Hawke. Who can be a rebellious outlaw, not definitely works for restore the order, but for destroy it for a new hope. And not a Chosen One. Tevinter is a good place for it. And would be interesting a possibility to be possessed by a spirit, and the PC's decisions and behaviour would shape this spirit and perhaps turn into a demon (possibility, not mandatory).
Body sliders, better hair/facial hair would be nice, ofc...
But Solas? The Inquisitor's responsibility. Bring back the Inquisitor for a quest (like Hawke), for a satisfying closure with Solas (and Dorian if he was his LI).

They should have some muscle definition yes, but real life hunter gatherers (which the Dalish were) don't really have what I think you're looking for. The best example for BW to follow are the remaining hunter gatherers left, most particularly the San people and certain Amazonian tribes. It's funny how you only pick images from tribes who do persistence hunting. You can tell this is true by how skinny they are and by the long spear and small bows the guys are holding in the picture. Dalish don't do persistence hunting so they wouldn't be that skinny. They are strictly bowmen living in a forest not savanna, that's why they have long bows and not spears. This is a tribe that do not participate in persistence hunting, they are mostly longbowmen and use short spears. Pure muscles because they are not doing cardio all day. EDIT: you can also see this phenomenon with olympic runners. Sprinters are more bulkier than cross country or marathon runners. It's basic science. Right ok I see what kind of muscular you're talking about., I thought you were looking for something meatier than that. BTW though, the last image in the list I provided were of amazonian bowmen who wouldn't be persistance hunters, who don't match the frame of the hunters in the image you posted.

They can go all out and re imagine the Dragon Dogma character creator where your weight/height actually affects you gameplay wise. Shorter/lighter pc's are faster and more agile(you ideally do this for Rogue like classes)whilst taller/heavier pc's are slower but sturdy(cant get knocked easily) and have far longer reach with their weapons(and you do this for warrior/fighter classes with mage somewhere in between). Although that would probably be alot of work for the cinematic team, but it did make you feel more connected to character. One could hope.

Just finished my DA:A replay and for the first time created an Orlesian Warden. I know that the voices for that character were the same set as the Origins warden, but, in my head, I read each of her lines in that ridiculous Orlesian accent. She was a dwarf who sounded like a cross between the French soldiers in Monty Python's The Holy Grail and Yvette from Clue.
Would 100% approve one of the voice options to be Orlesian if the PC can be from there.

Modify body parts would be cool, but that's expecting the moon from BW. The way to deal with the hair complain going in Anthem was to cover almost all NPCs with head scarves or make them bald/short haired. Regarding that, my only hope is that they fix the male elf body and refine the others as needed.

Yeah but Endless corrected you about that 4th pic as well. Those are children not adults. Here's a pic of the adults of that tribe (Enawene Nawe) in the 4th pic.

I looove my Inky but I'm not sure who I wanna play as in DA4, returning Inq or New Hero. I'm pretty conflicted.
I do know that I want Inq to be the one to confront and deal with Solas and resolve that plotthread. that feels like her story to me, and not because Solavellan (she opposes him). and I do know that if she comes back like Hawke in DAI or similar, I really dont want her to be wildly out of character (Hawke in DAi wasnt bad characterization wise but it was kinda jarring hearing a blood mage be like... raaa... blood mages!! for example).
I'm attached to a few concepts and ideas that are rolling around in my brain for a new Pc and I love getting to make new chars, design a look, come up with traits and a backstory. I neeeeed race selection to return and I'd like to be a CE this time if applicable. I also do enjoy the DA model of it being the story of Thedas and a new PC in each main game.
out of curiosity how do u think they would they handle Inq as returning PC for people who have never played Inquisition? I would also worry a bit about Inqs with active romances and how those would be treated

One scenario I imagined was the game maybe starting with the Inquisitor and some characters riding in a carriage or something as they sneak or go into Tevinter and while that happens a character catches the Inquisitor up on recent events. For new players this helps fill them in while also not seeming like just an exposition dump for returning players.
