Yeah, there are plenty of movies, shows, etc that have characters who lost a limb but are still loved by a ton of people. Lol, I have no dog in this fight. I was just remarking on how GoW was hyped up a ton earlier in the year by many people only to lose so much to a recently released AAA game of similar quality. I must say, I'm a specialist in what we brazilian call "zicar". It means when I predict something that seems that obviously is going to happen, but then just after I said so, the opposite thing happens. Not sure if there is a similar word in english It happens a lot when I'm watching soccer, a team scores 1x0 and I say "ha, this team already won, they are owning the game", and then the other team scores two goals, lol. Now I just said God of War left empty-handed and now they won 2 awards lol Say "DA4 is definitely going to suck and won't come out this may", please.

Unfortunately, zica doesn't work if you try to force it, you have to really believe it. I really hope I think DA4 is going to suck, LOL, I'm already a little hopeless with Bioware after Andromeda

I love the bold part no doubt. I agree 100%. My problem is I've yet to be able to finish a DAI play through and I've tried many a times. It's the only Bioware game I've yet to complete. With today's news maybe I'll try it again! You've completed Andromeda, but not Inquisition? Inquisition was actually pretty decent, and enjoyable, compared to Andromeda. The only negative I'd give Inquisition was the dull open world, the male elf arms, and probably the mounts. The gameplay sucked too, but that's was expected given they kept dumbing down the tactical gameplay. Truly I think they should just make DA a complete action/RPG.

As shallow as it sounds I doubt most casual first time Dragon Age players are going to want to play as a one armed protagonist. Wut? I'm someone who very much prefers a new protag but I don't see why the hero having one arm would put anyone off. It's badass! Like losing an eye or being covered in scars. It's just basic human psychology. For the most part either people consciously or subconsciously look at a loss of a limb as a weakness. Of course now a days (for the most part) we know this not to be true but the stigma is still there. This is something that amputee's tend to see in themselves and have to cope with on a daily. Here's a less scientifically boring article that delves a little in to it. www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/how-help-friend/201607/things-matter-amputee I didn't want to bore you with a drier version. I personally don't feel this way but this really falls under the umbrella of nature. I feel losing an eye or having a shit ton of scars is looked at differently do to Hollywood movies portraying that way

Those shows are looked at differently because the limbs were replaced. Again, this is only natural to look at it that way. I personally don't feel this way but can understand why others would.

And if I lost an arm I'd be bragging about how I fought a tractor/IED/ancient elven god and lived. But judging from the amount of people who complained about Cassandra's one dinky facial scar, I'd wager there are indeed some shallow people out there. I don't understand them at all!

When people create their own protagonist quite a few players tend to self-insert. Some of these self-insert players will be annoyed they're going around with one arm. It's not a concern for me personally but I'd imagine it would be a concern for quite a few.

If the Inquisitor is back as the protagonist, they’ll likely have a prostethic arm. It’d screw too much with the various weapon sets, so I doubt that it’d be a issue.

Well, I would imagine there would be a prosthetic at some point if we actually had to do more than just talk to people, so I don't think the functionality aspect of being one-armed would matter much in the grand scheme of things.
If people had a problem with it beyond the practical issues, then I don't know what to tell them. lol I don't think its a reason for us not ot get the Inquisitor back, though.

Yeah, if the Inquisitor is coming back they're definitely going to use some sort of prosthetic with magic attached to it. Otherwise I don't know how my elf bowman will kill anything. You need two arms to use a bow.
