DA 4 Romances! New info for real this time!!! Zom-bangin'?

Eeeeww, sorry to hear these rumors about ACO. That's... disappointing.

I'm hoping the wording allows for something different (a lot of Phoibe's dialogue was about her and Markos being Alexios' family), or that it is optional.

Odyssey is one of the few things I've been really enjoying lately, and I won't let Ubi ruin that... I'm already ignoring their bs canon choices that I hope they'll never reference should I play a future AC (and I don't mean Kassandra being the misthios).

OMG, that is hilarious . I did not even know such a mod existed.

One thing that I'd like for the animators to watch out for are the camera angles for the romance scenes, (cutscenes in general, really) when it comes to dwarf and qunari PCs. Also, the bizarre changes in height of the dwarf and qunari PC compared to the companions in cutscenes. This was really apparent in the intro with my dwarf Inquisitor being led through the makeshift camp outside of Haven. One second he was normal height, and the next he was just as tall as Cassandra, then back to normal height.

Also, in the Dorian romance, my dwarf Inquisitor was *taller* than Dorian at one point. It looked like Dorian went up on his tip toes for a second to kiss the Inquisitor, then he was back to being taller again.

I like to headcanon that my dwarf Inquisitor carried a small stool around with him as he walked around Skyhold. From time to time he'd hop on the stool when interacting with his companions.

I appreciated that Leliana kneeled to kiss a dwarf Warden. That made so much more sense than floating dwarves. Blackwall's romance was the woooorst for this, because the camera literally pans from you kissing (face-to-face) to both of your feet on the ground.

I guess in Ancient Greece, vaginas, like the ancient monster Charybdis, took the form of whirlpools that consume anyone who tries to pass by.

Seriously. I didn't see the producer supporting it, just kinda pieced some stuff together and it fit. Most of the SH games have a straightforward interpretation (the city is real), and a psychological one (the city and events are a manifestation of the protagonist's psychological distress). Adding Alex's parents rejecting and isolating him, the lobotomy clues, the hints about Alex being clueless about military stuff, the many ways the female form is nightmare fuel for him. I pieced my interpretation together.

Any other interpretation doesn't make sense to me now. And seeing as there are around 5 people that liked the game, there's no one to argue with me

If the DLC turns out as bad as it seems, I'll just leave that whole quest and skip to Atlantis. Alexios is too busy being gay with Lykaon to have time for this crap.

Now Overwatch is going to be revived for a whole other reason.

I had hoped to see that lootbox riddled piece of shit product die out, it was so close too
I had hoped Assassin's Creed would die out too, goddamn microtransactions in single player games

CDPR are the only ones with any dignity left, even Bethesda turned out to be far worse than any of the companies with straight up deception and illegal practises.

... CDPR better treat their goddamn developers right! I don't want to hear about the rumours being true.

With that said.

If I am going to romance a lootbox in DA4, then forget it!

I will hate any games with lootboxes in them and with microtransactions in their single-player stories with or without LGBT character.
I hated Overwatch even before Tracer was announced to be gay, I hated Shadow of War.

In my eyes, microtransactions is a far worse plight than any kind of pandering to a militant group of minorities.
Microtransactions is the 100% cause of a game being downgraded, destroyed in order to sell said microtransactions, even if people try to lie and say: "It is totally optional" yeah right.

Even if they were optional they were put in to cater to rich investors for the sweet moneyz, and that leads to problems in the future, because investors wants to see growth and how the heck do you see a continued growth when you already put in "optional" extra buys and your game is only getting fewer players because of said microtransactions?

That is correct, you make the game worse in order to intensify the need to buy more microtransactions.

If game developers and/or publishers start catering solely to invenstors and not the gamers, the focus will be less on how to make an entertaining game and more how to make a game that maximize their profits.

It is simple business.

CDPR (and to an extend Nintendo) are the only ones, so far, who have shown to atleast have the balls to stand up against investors and tell them: "The only way to see proper growth, is to consistently release entertaining games" and that is worthy of respect.

With all that said, since you so obviously want to try and hack me down on that.

I am against obvious pandering which dilutes a story, I am not against LGTB characters 

Even if you may think it is the same thing for whatever your reasons, that is YOUR fault, not mine.

Romance in Dragon Age can get complicated enough without broadening the discussion to resolve romance in CDPR, Bethesda, Overwatch and AC at least in one post. Thank you.
