Chris Anderson @postmodernlocke I have an internal project launching today that has consumed a pretty decent amount of my time and I'm nervous. It looks pretty simple in the end, but the iterating required to get it there was huge.

It is refreshing to at least see someone acknowledging it. Rather than hand waving and telling fans we weren't the ones paying attention or that we'd misunderstood which no matter how it's phrased, is still a big FU to the fans who bought all the source material and actually remembered this stuff like it was our job even though it wasn't our job.

John Epler @eplerjc Oh, it’s not that I don’t know the lore/can’t find the answer, it’s finding a place where two things written at different times are in direct conflict and trying to resolve that.

I've noticed a few tweets from Devs on vacation (Patrick was off for a couple of weeks as well). Hopefully the move goes smoothly!
Suddenly Melo leaving and 'it being a good time to do it' makes sense if they are giving them some time off and some time to transition.
As I said I hope they make sure everything is backed up in quadriplicate lol.
I think it is surprisingly having a positive effect on our velocity since everyone seems to be taking vacation simultaneously. It sounds bad but we lose a lot more speed when there is a different decision maker gone each week (especially common in the summer).

that does make a lot of sense. Plus everyone's energy levels should, in theory, be recharged at the same time so everyone is all rested for whatever the next phase is instead of having people in varying degrees of fatigue.
