Thanks Tea i just checked out the trailer, Greedfall might be something to help fill in the gap for awhile. It seems DA/BioWare inspired, if you ask me. Companions with personal quests, story changes based on actions, romance even. Seems alright.

Spiders, the dev making GreedFall, makes very BioWare inspired games, but they have a very small team (20-30 at the studio + 20ish contractors) and budget (GreedFall has a 5m Euro budget). There's a thread on the general game subforum if you want more information (beaten to it, lol).
It's the only thing that's going to give you a "fix" until DA4 gets released (and if DA4 is in the same style at its predecessors).
Greed FAIL would be the perfect name for Apex Legends loot boxes ...

I disagree with the commonly held wisdom about the Last of Us. Pretty good story. Horrid controls, set up, save system just all the video gamey things.

Ugh. I agree wholeheartedly with all your complaints. It may have made a good movie, but as a video game, I couldn't get to the end of it fast enough, and not for the good reasons.
I know we disagree about on HZD being great but I've played Technomancer and it just gives me good feelings about Greedfall.

Ugh. I agree wholeheartedly with all your complaints. It may have made a good movie, but as a video game, I couldn't get to the end of it fast enough, and not for the good reasons.

HZD I feel like we feel about TLU but I actually did enjoy Horizon. There is a lot of potential in any potential sequel so it's a franchise I'll keep an eye on in the future... even if its only watching an LP on YouTube to see where the story goes.
