So two questions: 1. Do we have any idea of release date? Trying to figure out when to begin my replay of the series to prep. Deep in a stardew valley run right now so need to know when to pull out, LOL. 2. Do we have any idea if the companions are playersexual/race/gender gated? Did they say in the live where they are giving away answers like that episode of Spongebob where they made too much money and gave it away for free? In YouTube chat they confirmed Deep Roads (not too surprising) What next the Fade?  By the way CC is fine but what about if after one hour or so i want to change my character again. In short is Xenon and his mirror back or is there another similiar system? Of course i am talking if this feature is ready at release and not again and again as free DLC.

We need someone 24/24 on the youtube stream chat because the DA account is answering game related questions: They just confirmed: - Faction selection at character creation with 6 options including: Antivan Crows, Grey Warden and Shadow Dragons - We get to customize the Inquisitor from the last game at character creation So my theory would be possible...
Considering how Trespasser ended and a very likely possibility that our PC will be working for Inquisition (in the trailer Varric has a belt buckle with Inquisition insignia on it) I highly doubt Inquisitor would be put in a role so minor that they'd be swappable with Morrigan - I mean... at this point they're almost confirmed to be the boss of our new characters.

End of November is my guess, plus it's the best time for release revenue-wise in whole fall I would be skeptical because of NHL releasing that month to but it does give them some distance from AC Shadows and the big thing about Black Friday is the sales. You don't exactly want to release something in November per se because there might not be enough lead in time to get the sales going/ the Christmas shopping hype.

Technically true. But let's be real. What we saw on Dragon Age social media yesterday is not organic. No matter what they did, it was going to lead to massive negative reception because it's BioWare. I have never seen anything like it. It's been a decade. No way this is real. Someone joked about it before but it's kinda true, in that BioWare as a company might be straight up doomed in the PR department because it has such an overwhelming negative perception from people who hate "woke" shit. If I want to be cynical, the only one to diminish that is to straight up "appease" that base, by giving us busty sexy female characters and hardass white male manly man fighters. Do we really wanna do that though? That isn't nessassary. You only need to distracked them from the companion. Make a trailer where fighting is the highlight not the companions.
Show the enemies so straight male can hype over that. The woke people can only bash, if to little people like it.
Tomorrow's trailer should be it.

First because of obvious marketing synergy with DAI 10 and DAO 15 year anniversary and second Veilguard is strong enough to chase the holiday aka Christmas money.

You don't put up a roadmap of your marketing schedule to public out of panic.
It is very clear they knew this would happen and this was some sort of compromise they got with EA Marketing department.
It is possible trailer will target specific demographic that will hit positively, while relying on those who don't like the trailer won't be turned off, especially with gameplay reveal only 48 hours after the trailer.
A road map is one thing, crudely giving away bombshell info guaranteed to hype people up over Q&A following a poorly received trailer instead of waiting for a proper reveal in a gameplay trailer is alarm bell damage control. So, I don't think that's very clear at all that BioWare anticipated so much heat, but I'm also not looking to get into a disagreement about something so minor. /shrug It's alarm bell damage control... or just tentatively checking people's reactions to revealed info in order to shape future marketing around it. Not the first time leaks and snippets have been used for exactly that.

Yeah believe I've said it the later in the year things get the busier I will get for family, the holidays, and work, so less likely to be able to take OFF and more time I will have to spend away from my console. My last 'ideal' moth for the game to launch really would've been August...but that boat has sailed.
Speaking of if I am lucky enough to get time off I do hope that I can resist the temptation to just play it straight through. Like I also want to make it a 'working holiday' for me and get hopefully a lot of writing done, chores done, and just make a dent in my career ambitions. *sigh* Now I made myself sad.
