Yes, that's the one I'm talking about. I click on the icon on my PC to play the game and it takes me to the window where I need to log-in, except it tells me I can't. At least my Keep log-in still works.

You're online?
Edit: try downloading the EA app/launcher and launch it and then launch DAI from there.

According to Bio's blogs, you need to use your team skills to win battles. I take it it means a "balanced party" or mission skills requirements = taking along companions you may not like.
I suspected as much. This is why each companion is probably going to have unique abilities suited to certain quests. Then possibly the end game is going to feature something like ME2 where you had to select people to perform certain tasks and if you chose wrong it could have negative consequences with party members not surviving. I didn't know that in advance so when I discovered afterwards that was the case I really felt a sense of achievement because we'd survived because I'd paid attention as to what people were good at and had also taken the trouble to build a team and deal with any problems between them along the way. I much prefer that to just an enforced choice between two people as to who will survive.
Previous games had Pride Demon doing stuff like that when they appeared.
See Baronness going Hulk Smash:
And DAI first demon also move his arms side way/up:
The biggest difference here is the graphical fidelity and that creature might not be a pride demon exactly. Similar head, but it seems to be floating...
Very interessting. The same as in the other pictures.
But the demon looks like Lego. Why are the purple veins so stiff.
Solas' Boss Battle Form #2...?
Nah that's just Solas new genius idea taking form. He got this. He will unleash the old gods get overwhelmed probably get Varric killed etc...good time ahead.
I can't wait to know what's the deal with these evanuris head pieces.
The Missing has a fresco showing two ladies wearing the half-moon and V (or U) shaped one (not Beetle) like hats, so really just head pieces. You can tell it was traced from a game concept art, because it looks different then the rest of the graphics and it was next to an officially released art (6 eyed wolf-head). Also, it was placed very in your face, so they wanted us to see it..
And if that wasn't Ghilain'nan and Andruil, I have questions.

Might be a problem with the EA App. Is this a longstanding problem or a momentary thing now?

I think this is worth posting, even if it might dampen the hype for some. It's not exactly groundbreaking news around here, given the leaks and all. Shinobi posted this on resetera:
"I'll say this:
I think if fans have been yearning for a quality Bioware game like they were used to before, this is that. Tight design, great character models, environments, animations have gone next level, combat fluidity, etc...it's all here. I compare it to the jump from ME1->ME2. This isn't a spoiler, as Game Informer said, it's a full on action RPG, and you can still pause and issue commands.
But this is not DAO. Preferences put aside, Bioware's moved on from that ages ago. This isn't BG3 at all. But they've put a huge emphasis on making combat feel good to play. As in engaging the player, more real-time, more Mass Effect. It's a meaty, single player RPG with lots of systems going on inside. Also, like they said, this is the prologue, the beginning of the game. Keep that in mind if you don't see everyone's powers unlocked or intense pause and play. If you keep all that in mind, I think you'll really like this."

This is why I would like to see in the future gameplay and especially combat from further in the game, to see how it plays at higher levels.

Thanks for the help. I've downloaded it but having technical difficulties because DAI was registered so long ago to a different email and my EA account is recognising my more recent email but not my old one. Still at least I have an up to date EA account ready for the new game.
