Well, the HoF found a cure in their travels so I don’t think that is necessary.

It definitely looks like lichen, but since lichens are notoriously picky about their growing conditions, I doubt they are alive. The orange stuff I'm pretty sure has been dyed, possibly also the lime green stuff. We do get bushy lichens on the ground (we call it 'caribou moss') that is silvery-greenish-grey and some that is a little greener, but definitely not lime green.   

The dark green stuff does appear to be moss and it may well be alive. There are succulents, too, nestled into the driftwood, but whether they're living ones or fake ones, I couldn't say based on the photograph. Since succulents, lichens, and mosses all need rather different growing conditions, I'm not sure how they could grow them all together in a single planter, so I really do think some of it is not alive.

Perhaps, but don't you think that if a cure was found for the taint, it would be a bit *bigger* than something relegated to an epilogue slide that you only get if you meet a certain specific set of conditions? I'm pretty sure that a cure for the taint would rock the Grey Wardens to pieces as many of them clamour for it while the rest are like "But if there's another Blight, and none of us are Grey Wardens anymore, who will fight it?" Perhaps that's the conflict that Hawke goes to Weisshaupt for (if Hawke's alive). Perhaps not. I do think that a cure for the taint would be material for at least one political intrigue quest in a game, though. 

At least she made sense there, unlike Cullen and Varric who were mostly there for fanservice and didn’t even have a character arc.

ppl are saying that pic with the image of Solas on the screen or on the wall in the new digs is Solas' DA4 model. but I dont see anything confirming or suggesting that? [squints] looks like his Trespasser model to me. what do u think?

They might be onto something. That does look a lot like his Trespasser armor (I imagine that'll be his DA4 look), but he doesn't have a staff in that scene where he does in the image.

But it's actually not his Trespasser look, it's his early concept art look + staff. I figured this was probably an older promo we've either forgotten or was never released.



His Trespasser look has a higher collar and some other details that are different. You'll also note that Trespasser-Solas ditches the staff (like Flemeth) as it appears "Elven Gods" don't need to rely on them.


I would assume Solas would get another makeover in DA4 in any case.

Hrungr: ye my bad, his trespasser look is all gilded and pimped out and shit. but it definitely looks DA:I source to me. not a new game version

Hanako cuz with a new game and updated graphics I wouldnt expect him or anyone to look the same? I dont mean outfits, I mean like quality or fidelity. and some tweaks. after 5 6 7 years or whatever I would expect an upgrade in visual graphics quality. Isabela's look is the same from 2 into DAI but its clearly a new shiny updated model in DAI, comparing her face in both games.
