It would put the Player in a very tight spot in terms of the morality of the decision within the game world (especially, if the player is playing a Mage). It sounds like just the thing that makes good writing, something Bioware is known for, I think.

Merrill was always nothing, but kind to him. Irritating, maybe, but still kind. And he says that...? Nope. It is sadly ironic how Anders and Fenris basically agreed on one thing...criticizing and putting down Merrill. (putting aside for now the hypocrisy of Vengeance's buddy.) And I'm not the biggest Merrill's defender as she's flawed and made mistakes as well, but the Marethari's banter is...a bit too far. Though as you said, he makes him flawed (and partially, at least in regards of conversations with other characters, is possibly due to how extreme in the various sides and plots most characters were written in DA2), and not necessarily bad.

When devs have nothing to say they just post inane things to show the studio is "alive". Nothing about possible "secret" IPs, DA4, maybe ME reboot(s).... repeating their pre-Anthem launch teaser tweets.
Sadly, it makes me fee the studio may be falling back on their Sisyphean soap opera. Salivating perhaps at copying Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Breakpoint monetization innovations. You have not read?
Ubisoft's 1 year subscription pass includes:
- Access to two Year 1 adventures and their rewards
- Siren's Call Mission available on day
- 1 wk early access to three classes
A special Ops pack that includes:
- Scorpio Scout
- Covered ACH (whatever that is)
- Crye G3 combat pants (like wow)

Yep, I feel Bio is studying this possibility in a serious manner. After all, they must show the studio can still bring in the moola. Just think what Bio can offer us at DA game launch!

We don't keep up with the X-Men all that closely these days. We met Claremont back when we were on the books - we had a signing with him at SDCC. Very nice to us. As for cameos, we don't have a ton in this mini, because Fenris is getting the full co-lead treatment. He's not a cameo - the miniseries is about Francesca and Fenris, mostly, with a big role for Vaea (and a lot of panel time and cool character choices for Autumn).
