Anne-Marie - Collector of Words and Pinecones @lemon_Cookie Please if you know the animator for the shot, can you tell them I love love love what they did. It looks crisp and the hits are super impactful. One of the best looking shot I've seen for the game so far. #bioware #veilguardspoilers
Michael Gamble @gamblemike Scenes are usually crafted by many animators. All the way from conception to finish & polish. All handing off different iterations and many focusing on different things.
wicked_italian I knew I could trust Corinne when she mentioned long flowing purple hair. I can't wait to give my Rook long flowing blue hair. 😭💜
corinne_at_last Just wait until you see the hairstyles 😉💜
But can I have hair with more than one color?

Are you sure? LOL
As mentioned in the Blooming Rose, everyone had the same hairstyle 10 years after the beginning of DA2.

Two-tone hair color please. I want to make a mage glam rocker.

Varric doesn't have the time to describe everyone's hair.
He is busy leading Cass by the nose.
As I recall, it was one of the courtesans at the Blooming Rose that made the comment about everyone having the same hairstyle

BG3 had highlights, as well as a graying option. Good to blend in tones and give the hair a richer color, as well as a little bit more of depth and dimension.

Derek Wilks @deremix That is a custom character made by someone from IGN - not an NPC. The choice to make him babyfaced was intentional by the player.
Don’t usually like to engage with stuff like this, but I’ve seen this topic multiple times.
To clarify: the one on the left is a custom character created by the player. The choice to make them look like that was intentionally made by the player in that video. It is not an NPC.

Maybe Derek could just ask the higher-ups if he can make his own Qunari PC so we can see how 'rugged' they can look. Honestly, I hope when they eventually showcase the character creator, they give us a number of different PC showcases of how aesthetically different the different characters can look.
corinne_at_last I read a post on the other site proclaiming this Rook from the @igndotcom hands-on preview has become “The People’s Rook” and honestly I’ve been thinking about it since. 😅

Yeah... the too-smooth big-forehead Qunari dude has become a little bit of a lightning rod, lately. He's the new "my face is tired" poster child. There's validity to some of the criticism (I commented on it myself), but like, let it go. Get over it.
To be fair... I think the problem with the Qunari began with Inquisition, when they became playable characters. For starters, they share a character creator with humans. Paint it however you like, your Qunari Inquisitor is essentially a human in a Qunari "skin", doing cosplay. That's... you know, it is what it is. 🤷♀️ Sorry. There's only so much that can be done.
But again, whatever, who TF cares. I don't even have a dog in this fight, I never played a Qunari and I don't see that changing with DA:TV. But the stuff with the baby-faced Qunari dude, over and over in attempts to bring the game down and get some engagement in the process, like, enough is enough. What's Kanye West been up to these days, I'm sure he's got a girlfriend somewhere dressed like a beige condom and in a ninja mask. Go talk about that.

Exactly. Also, you know what, if that Qunari wants to be a Neutrogena spokesperson, become an Instagram model, a beauty influencer... that's his business. We should, as a society, be less judgmental and more supportive. He had two horns and a dream, and now he's the protagonist of a triple A video game. What have *you* got going on, judgy Jessica? Nothing? Not even a tummy-tea endorsement deal? Teeth whitener? No...? That's what I tought.

I’m not crazy about how that qunari looks, but until I see what the options are in CC I’m reserving judgment. What does irritate me, however, are the people zooming in on random auto-generated qunari npc in a crowd like a CSI character and ignoring designs like

Do we yet know if you can change your look, or visit a hairdresser?

I believe they mentioned that there's going to be a mirror akin to the one in the Black Emporium somewhere in the Lighthouse
Always something to be killed, and I’m the one to do it – Hero of Ferelden ‘Hawke this, Hawke that,’ Why does everything fall to me? - Champion of Kirkwall Our concern must be the order and safety of this world, not the next. - The Inquisitor
People are messy, but they're trying, and I'm going to make sure they get that chance - Commander Shepard
Yeah think I am going to make use of the Mirror for my first Rook intentionally to mess with different hair and beard styles throughout his journey. Tried using it for my cannon Inquisitor and giving her a scar but that didn't quite work out because when she was 'supposed' to have gotten the scar she was in cutscenes before getting to it...would be odd for her to suddenly sprout a scar out of nowhere. Think hair is a little more justifiable? Probably after the first act or so.
