Oh my. Also, this might be nitpicky, but is anyone else bothered that almost every enemy design doesn't have a face, or has their face hidden? I'm not thrilled by the decision, trying to depersonalize violence tends to drive me up a wall. We do see unmasked Qunari in one of those screenshots (talking to whoever they're apprehending), however depersonalization is a thing in Qunari culture. It's why they don't have proper names. Oh yeah, I know, if it was just Antaam I wouldn't mind. It's more indication of overall pattern that bugs me. Venatori for example are cloaked from head to toe as well. And then other enemy types look like constructs. But like I said, very nitpicky.

How do they sit down Exactly my first thought, as I laughed! 😆 To be fair, I guess, I always think this about darn near everything in games. "How do they lift their arms with those pauldrons?" "How do they fight with all that cloth hanging around their legs?" "How does the (magnetized) polearm on their back not slap their head, then legs, then head, then legs..." Real world physics mean nothing to animators and game designers when it comes to worn objects.

It bothers me, too. I immediately noticed it in the very first gameplay trailer. At least it's a minor complaint. 🤷🏻♂️

Even Pride Demons lost their faces though, and they’re monstrous enough to not need the clone justification. I thought Inquisition had a nice middle ground, with random generic foot soldiers alongside fully armored enemies like templars or venatori.

I don' t think we start out wi thanything outside our basic combat kit in Veilguard at least not until we'v elevelled up as I thin k it's said the abilit ywheel is locked until you do .The yonl yhad it unlocked fo rthe demo with 1 power to show us how you selec tabilities in the initia lgameplay trailer. Oh, great. I didn’t know about that. So mages start out with 0 spells. What level do abilities unlock? We can pick an ability as soon as we get a point and can decied between 2.
edit: I think everyone start with one active unlocked, the main core class one in the middle: - for Warrior that's the "sparta kick" - for Rogue that's the "blade spark" - for Mage that's the "fan fire blade" spell
Doesn't we have 2 fan fire blade and anotherone and we can choose if we want one of them or not?

"fan fire blade" is actually called Arcane Shot and the Mage class start with it, I'm pretty sure. I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Just viewed a new (to me) DA4 video where the content author mentioned that ACT1 is from level 1-30. It ends, if I understood correctly, with the assault on fortress Weisshaupt.
Can anyone confirm this? I mean, ACT1 is a bloody long one with only 20 levels to go. See video time stamp 2:12

I think the developers likely set the max level for the preview to 30 so that could had more skill points to experiment. There is probably some good chance that ACT1 is where a good chunk of the game resides. If you're doing a lot of side content, I wouldn't be surprised if people are able to make it past level 20-25. It's also important to remember that there will be other ways (out in the world) for us to gain additional skill points.

The Siege of Weisshaupt being the end of Act 1 was confirmed by the game director, but I wouldn't read too much about the level of the preset character used for it, those were preset characters made for the event. And how many levels are after/before is sometimes meaningless with level curve that gets slower as you gain levels.

That would explain why some said the game could be over after Act 1, but the dev. said they wanted more. That was talked about in an interview.

From what I've gathered you have your main quest in obviously a certain order, and some side content you can do whenever. Granted there might be branching paths, companion romance are locked after a certain point etc..so it might not be extra clear what content will still be available in act 2 or 3.

From what I understood through some interviews with Epler and Busche Act 1 is basically where we get to recruit all companions and factions (hence it takes the longest), and Act 2 is where we start seeing the consequences of decisions we made earlier. So, effectively, Act 1 is set-up, Act 2 is where payoff starts (and prolly the section we finish most faction/companion quests), and Act3 is probably mostly about the main quest and the Grand Finale.
