I’m taking this to mean any announcement, if any, will probably be made then.
If I am not mistaken, D4 day organisera confirmed some time ago that some of Bioware devs will be joining this year celebration. But they explicitly said that they won't make any announcment anr/or talk about upcoming game- they can't.
We had been in touch with BioWare and there was definite interest, but we don't have anything confirmed for Dragon Age Day yet, except for the tweet you saw this morning. It was as much of a surprise for us DA Day organisers as it was for you all. ;D Hopefully we'll have more to share with you in the near future. Meanwhile, might I recommend you check out the Unofficial Dragon Age Day Tweet & Discussion thread if you haven't already? That's where I'll be posting news as it happens.
I guess I'm an art account @ashy_Paints Also this is exciting! I'm so hyped for #DragonAgeDay And congrats to @unofficialdaday for basically becoming official! 💖
ETA: Whoops! I thought I posted this in the Dragon Age Day thread, lol. I'm trying to juggle too many posts and windows this morning.

I highly doubt they’ll do anything of real note during D4 Day unfortunately. The most I expect is maybe a blog post celebrating the ten years as well as how much everyone means to them and stuff like that. It’ll be nice, but nothing for us to mull over.

Exactly one decade ago, I was in the middle of the human noble origin story and they had already well and truly hooked me. Here's to another ten years! Hopefully with a DA4 in it somewhere.
(Also I had just found out that the prophet had the same name I'd been using on the internet for nine years. So far that has never stopped being weird.)
Karin Weekes @karinweekes I was hired at BioWare to work on DA: Origins. The many creative, inspired people on that team opened my eyes and set me off on an amazing new career. The gift I didn’t expect was the privilege of meeting so many creative, inspired people in the DA community; I’m so grateful.💛
Sylvf @sylvf1 When I interviewed at BioWare, DA:O had JUST come out 2-3 days ago. I hadn't played it yet, but I could feel the energy in the studio as people realized they'd make something special. Years later, DA had a huge impact on me when I got to write for DAI. Here's to you, Origins!
I'm not exaggerating about that either: the atmosphere in a studio really does change during a release day. Everyone's looking at feedback, or talking among themselves how X or Y is being received. (Or uh...working on patches because games now are huge.) And etc.
Mary Kirby @biomarykirby In honor of the 10 year anniversary of the release of DAO, here is a screenshot of a portion of the flowchart I still have, for some reason, explaining the Landsmeet.
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes My favorite game, Plot Diagram or Starship Schematic?
Fernando Melo @ Reboot Red DiscoBabaloo Wow, #DragonAgeOrigins is 10 years old. So many fond memories & thankful to work with many amazing folks on this team, as well as the Doctors, and BW community in general (via toolset, forums, events). DAO specifically will always have a special place for me.
BioWare @bioware Today marks 10 years of Dragon Age! This year we’re excited to join the community’s party on December 4th and celebrate a decade together in the world we all love. See you on 12/4 for Dragon 4ge Day!
(Yay! They're tweeting about us finally! - ladyiolanthe)
This means so much to me because D4th is also my wife's birthday. I can celebrate two festivals together.

Yep. DA:O is what got me into the ME series and the DA series.

Agreed.
Bio is not in a position to say anything about DA4, yet (the pragmatist in me). Still...

Not expecting anything of importance, of course...but something like a piece of new artwork (or old but never given to the public) or anything toungue-in-check to give to the fan to talk about I feel is definitively in store.
"Odin è un nome ispirato alla mitologia nordica, ma in russo vuol dire qualcos'altro... significa uno! Chissà poi perché mi sarò scelto un nome russo?" Uno. PKNA
"Odin is a name ispired by norse mithology. However in russian it means something else... It means one! Why did I choose a russian name, I wonder?" Uno. PKNA

Yeah, there are some click-bait articles going around now that are trying to claim that BioWare will be releasing news about DA4 on Dragon Age Day (Dec. 4). I really doubt that will happen, but we may see some art, fun behind-the-scenes memories and stories from devs who worked on DA:O, DA2, and DAI, and more of those sorts of things that they do occasionally treat us to. We'll see!

I expect a twit and that's about it. Maybe some merch. Yeah, merch opportunity.
When I die, I want Bioware to carry my casket, so they can let me down, one last time.
Brianne Battye 🦇 @bbattye Had my work peer reviewed today by a bunch of smart, awesome people. It's so good getting eyes on your work. Now I'm feeling energized and ready to dive into my favourite part of the writing process: Revisions!
Mike Bithell @mikebithell Hey internet, stop blaming anyone below the management / director level for choices you don’t like in games. It makes you look mean and a bit ignorant about how things are made.
(While you’re at it, give credit for things you do like mostly to the folks below that level)
James Berg @jamesbergcanada This. So very much this.
As a researcher, I can convince my dev partners of things, but can’t mandate them. For anything significant, that always goes to a lead, because that’s literally their job.
Often key decisions involve *many* management folks, informed by their teams
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes For me, it's because on a core level, I want to help someone have a better day than they were having before they picked up what I worked on (novel, game, whatever).
I can't fix a lot of stuff. I'm not a doctor or an engineer. But I can maybe help some folks feel better.
