DA:O was my 1st venture into the Bio universe. Loved the game and i will always have a place in my heart. Among the may things that I like about it is its Origin intro stories. And, if Bio's mgt and game architects are smart, they will re-intro the Origin stories mechanic in the Tevinter War Theatre. Maybe include a couple at launch and add others later as new content.
Just remember that the marketing cinematics and the game will remain miles apart. All one needs to do is watch the Diablo IV cinematic teaser vs actual game or the new Warcraft cinematcs about Sylvanas vs actual game play. Why even Anthem cinematics teaser has the hub looking like a sprawling busy place when in fact it's a dead zone in the game.
But, I digress. DA:O remains, in my heart, as the best RPG title from Bio.

Frying pans are shockingly versatile weapons, I've discovered over the course of many TTRPGs. Also, Tiffany Aching uses one, and she's my favorite witch in anything.  |
