problem number 2 since I am very confused on the faction vendor system since it does not seem to tell you which valuables are most ideal. So yeah even if I like my first Rook enough to make him canon his first PT could go bad. I can be wrong, but nonetheless I'm pretty sure factions don't care about 'most suitable' valuables - just that you sell stuff to them. I just sold what I accumulated in my pack while questing to the faction merchant I wanted to rank up, so you don't have to worry about that, really. However, if you find yourself in a spot of trouble while ranking faction/merchant, like: there aren't enough valuables to sell them, or you just can't be bothered to go out there to collect junk - across most (both faction and non-faction) merchants you can find pricier valuables (from blue to gold) that you can exchange for currency (either gold or the green sprites one, and sometimes barter surplus material, depending on the vendor) that you can then sell to the faction you want to buff up. So THAT'S why valuables have rarities to. Think I bumped into that today and was so confused as to why that'd be even in the game.

I'm pretty much at the very beginning and i remember seeing a tooltip that said something about factions having preferred valuables. Am i making that up? Can somebody in the know elaborate?
