I myself have used the tac-cam a lot in Origins. I'm the kind of guy who prefers to manage and coordinate the party's fighting at various points. I just never set any particular tactics for them.
So I'm the kind of guy who wants the tac-cam to remain in the games, as well as the ability to control my companions. All I need (as I've said before) is for DA4 to allow us to set companion behaviors like we could in DA:O or DA2. The removal of these features would make Dragon Age lose plenty of its identity.
