I'd like to think so. One could even take it as a sign that perhaps working conditions within the studio have improved since that article dropped a few months ago. And just perhaps DA4 production isn't all doom and gloom as some would like to believe.
I'm really oversimplifying it but happy healthy devs = good games imo.

...before itgets misconstrued, it is not the fact that they are all humans. It is their faction alignment coupled with their attitudes.
Can we not take too seriously what is pretty clearly a jokey stance? A lot of Bioware/DA folks have some sort of long-running joke they perform on their private twitter accounts. Weekes is a tear-squeezer who likes to torment folks who romance/befriended his characters. Mark Darrah is supposedly actively sabotaging their marketing departament and trolling everyone incessantly.
Pentapod supposedly distrusts elves - though, who knows - that may be something not really related to the franchise. I've had a friend who hated the elves as a concept/trope in fantasy overall, so I know people like that exist. No, she's never played Dragon Age.

I do have to wonder if this is Yet Another Trollish Moment or Another Zither Moment. People didn't take that one seriously simply because of how ridiculous and over-the-top it all seemed... only for them to go TA-DA!
ZITHER! is life. I constantly try to find ways to get him back in for future content. I plan to do what I do on some of my FromSoft bad build playthroughs: keep trying until I eventually win.

My first comment was pretty much intended as a joke as well, but I should probably have come up with the proper meme from... CinemaSins was it if I recall right? Thought that regardless of the point, more cynical humor would be common and therefore no issue in here, given the multitude of jokes that I encountered here and cannot quite understand. Later I tried to point out that Solas isn't the best argument either, at least for me. He's much better than the Chantry personnel I listed at when it comes to condescension.

Domino's policy is correct. After all, Solas is untrustworthy at best.
And, speaking of Dorian, I wonder if DA4 will have time travel again. Hm... as a live-service game, I won't be surprised if introduced sometimes down the road.

I don't really think this was about character's condescension. And I think this may basically be Pentapod's gentle, roundabout ribbing of writers responsible for writing at least some elves -especially one responsible for Solas After all, we can't really trust that Weekes won't break our hearts again, ey?
