Peeps, don't forget that past choices may always be brought back by things like picking specific dialogue option during conversation too. So the number of choices through tarot cards may not be all there is. I definitely feel like the number of options included in the CC are going to be limited. Let's face it a lot of those in the Keep were a bit puzzling. What did it matter if we did the Sutherland quest (that was one wasn't it?). What did it matter whether we drained the area at Crestwood or not? Is the Solassan quest involving the occulara and shards really going to be that important going forward? It is more likely that they would make a default decision that you did them if they intend referring back to them at all, at bit like even if you didn't play Legacy, Corypheus is always freed. I think now we know both Morrigan and the Inquisitor are likely to be included in the narrative that the Well Drinker could become important again. Mythal likely exists in some form or other and is going to play a part in the plot at some point. May be they will ask us to state what major decisions we made, such as who we made ruler of Orlais and who became Divine (although that was more a combination of factors some of which we may not even have been aware would influence the decision). However, apart from referring to them in the odd conversation or codex, I can't see it really playing much of a factor in the current story. Since Divine Victoria is always the name of the Divine, I dare say they will simply refer to her in codices like that and any developments in the south could apply equally to any of them. It is also possible they will reference the choice over whether we continued to maintain our working relationship with the Qun or not. The romance choice of the Inquisitor may well be important, whether Solas or not, depending on who they intend bringing back for a cameo. Ditto our relations with former companions generally. However, if it is only relevant to conversation with the Inquisitor, then as you say perhaps they will leave that as a dialogue choice for the player to make at the appropriate time. The only person I can see definitely returning is Dorian because they were so determined to take him back to Tevinter and he becomes a Magister regardless of whether you reconciled with his father or not, so I guess they may ask for input on his relationship with the Inquisitor to inform his dialogue as necessary. Finally, there is our relationship with Solas during DAI and how we left things with him at the end of Trespasser. However, as you say, perhaps this will be dealt with in actual conversations with them rather than dialogue based on the answers in the CC. I suppose it just depends on how much autonomy they intend giving us where the Inquisitor is concerned or whether it is going to be like it was with Hawke.

The limitations of tackling this in game are why I strongly preferred the Keep system. I can see why they want to move away from it given that maintaining a whole website and import system has its own pitfalls, but I'm sad that this means we'll get fewer world state choices. By the time you get through who the Divine is, who rules Orlais, how the Inquisitor feels about Solas, who drank from the Well and whether the Inquisition disbanded or not there's probably not room for much else, let alone things from previous games. I don't need the choices we make to have a big impact, but I always get a kick out of seeing them referred to. Stuff like Zevran showing up in War Table operations delighted me. I would have loved to see something like the Hero of Ferenden's friendship (or lack thereof) with the current Arishok come up in a codex entry or the like but I don't know if we'll see anything that refers all the way back to Origins .

I. Past dragon age games if your hero dropped you took over a remaining hero. Is that still the case or does another character run over to help you? Almost all gameplay shows just the rook on screen until combos?

I don't think choices should matter beyond the game you make it in. But in that area, it should matter a lot.
Carrying choices beyond that just builds up baggage, and ultimately the choices get trivialized.
Consider, our choices in DAI helps decide who becomes the next Divine, and each woman has a very different view on how the Chantry should be run. This could/should have sweeping ramifications across the continent. But does anyone seriously think it will change anything but a line or two of dialogue going forward?
In comparison, whether you get the backing of the Circles or the Templars leads to different questlines going forward in DAI, different enemies at the battle at Haven, a different confrontation at the Temple of Mythal, and carries significant weight in the "New Divine" outcome. It actually impacts the game itself. Not as much as I'd like, but it's not insignificant.

Almost all gameplay shows just the rook on screen until combos? That was shown in IGN first 22 minutes gameplay video. Rook was defeated and there was a "game over" screen, but one of the option was to call forth Neve to come revive you and she ran over and revived Rook and the "game over" screen went away.

Once the NDA embargo is over on 19th September, I'm expecting lots of useful information about the CC. Specifically, I'm looking at which faction benefits a chosen class. In my case, a mage. We assign a faction at this stage and I want to max the benefits. I know that Neve get three bonuses with her faction.
It's important, to me, to arm myself with knowledge and understanding when choosing a class spec. Not only that, but this game is designed to provide synergy and additional bonuses with the right type of team selection. At min. we have Mage+Tank. The third member of the squad should also The 'best' choice from a purely gameplay perspective, will depend on how you want to build your character. So, knowing what they all are without seeing all the details of the skills, items, runes...etc. won't help too much - might even make you more indecisive 😅.

Not as much as I'd like, but it's not insignificant. Ultimately though none of that matters very much in the epilogue to Trespasser. You get the sense that ultimately things will start to even out further down the line because, whether Divine or not, Grand Enchanter Vivienne and her loyalist Circle are the ones in control, with the College of Enchanters very much in her shadow, with only the Bright Hand (if they exist at all) able to stand up to her. No doubt eventually the Templar Order would be reformed, even if they are more like the Imperial Templars rather than high on lyrium. Not that we will see anything of this and I imagine we will just get a generic codex saying that Divine Victoria is trying to keep things under control in the south with the aid of the respective rulers. It is also possible that there will be some mention of her authorising a Divine March to aid Antiva but this is being delayed by political bickering between nations and the Freemarches wanting guarantees that Orlais will go home afterwards. Something to that effect anyway. We aren't going any further south than the Grand Necropolis and every place we visit is an addition to what we have experienced before, so they can leave most of their world state baggage safely in the south.

Can't be that simple.
Respec... respec what? race? class? specialization? spec progression? faction? Some? half? all? one?
You are at lvl 20, say. You decide to respec from rogue to mage... r u going to be lvl 20 mage with all the specialization progression of lvl 20? Bio didn't say... Corrine didn't say...
Bioware said that you can respec you skill points/specializations. You can't respec anything else.
Hm... but I cannot change my specialization... correct?

Hm... but I cannot change my specialization... correct? That's what I thought originally, that you had to opt for it at the beginning of the game and the only thing you could change was your path getting there, but perhaps that was just the faction I was thinking of and it is possible to change from one specialisation to another by reassigning everything. Mind you, that could mess you up with the companions if you have been synchronising them all with your first specialism as presumably you would have to alter them as well (if you can). A lot seems to depend on how you build your Rook.

This people are insane. She only try to help. I can't believe that people are like they are at the moment.
I saw her have a couple of mini meltdowns on Twitter those past months. She should do her Youtube video, disable comments, and buy herself some peace of mind but I'm cynical and I imagine she'll be back in a week, get overwhelmed again rince/repeat. Don't wanna throw too much stone, cos I easily foam at the mouth myself but not everyone is build to deal with semi popularity on those platforms. That is the reason i don't have Twitter/X.
